Nuevo Siglo — Restaurant in Marbella

We have spent the first 3-months of the year for the last 10-years living beachside in San Pedro, so I cannot imagine the number of times that we have walked passed this restaurant. It rained yesterday and so we decided to go, as it was the shortest walk for us. What a big mistake, the restaurant is really very good and the service excellent, with a smile. It was Chinese New Year so even before 8pm, the restaurant was very full and busy with two large parties, yet the smiles kept on coming. We had the set menu C, for 2-people. This includes a 1/4 Pekin duck - but it must have been one heck of a large Duck as we had 8-pancakes and still some to finish afterwards. It was also accompanied with spare ribs - so a monstrous meat course. Finally we were defeated by Prawn and garlic and chicken and ginger with fried rice. Not a problem as we were given a doggy bag to finish it off tonight. But the special was the starter that was lettuce filled with crispy noodles and a beef dish - delicious and before we had barely finished a finger bowl was delivered, with a smile. So, we will definitely be returning - but I don’t think that we will order a set menu again, the duck, plus one dish and rice will be just fine for us :) We have enjoyed stronger flavours in Chinatown in Manchester, but the experience and cost is simply too good to miss - a wasted 10-years...

Outstanding!! Food 5 Star Service 5 Star 27/11/18 Just left and I must say our food was amazing and portion size was large. I'm really happy we had no starters. I would suggest if you like your starters (we normally do) then one meal to share is enough. My wife and I. 2 glasses of white wine 1 bottle of red wine Sechuan chicken Sechuan beef (really spicy) 1 special fried rice 1 chips €37 Offered free drinks (we said no thanks) Please have a present from us we were offered. The only thing I asked and was refused. "Can I swap" I asked the waitress? "Certainly sir" she said "Can I swap my wife for the chef" I asked. This was met with Great laughter and I overheard her tell the kitchen staff. If you like Chinese...

So i was there for a lunch. I ordered starter and 2 main and a drink. My bill was 25 . Everything was okay until i finished my food. The bill came and i happily paid . I sit for 1 minutes and the waiter came and said to me are you just sitting here watching in your telephone? I said yes . He said can you get up and sit there . He’s pointing at the corner. Because we need this table. I said no need am going out anyway. I find it very disrespectful when you finish food and pay they tell you to get up the table. I felt bad and disrespectful. Not going...
