Very different in a good way. It feels somewhat of a take away place but it’s not only. Garlic bread is nice and in general nice bread. All their Tomato should be great my friends say. The pasta also.
I’m allergic to I had a special pizza but I was trying to order one that I know I can have that all pizza places in Marbella I have tried, gladly makes without any problems. But when I asked for it they wouldn’t make it… so he recommended another he could make, a vegan pizza. I asked them to put salami or other meat on but he wouldn’t ! I thought he made a joke but he was serious. 🤷🏻♂️ I wanted to leave but my friends wanted to stay. I was quite annoyed and got over it. He promised that it was great. They didn’t have pesto either. Unfortunately. The pizza came and it way okay - mostly because of the bread. But for my taste very boring and not at all the pizza I was wanting. I was honest about it. He said they try their best but it was not for me. He was kind enough but I wish he would have listened to what I wanted and not what they wanted to serve me. But there was no compromise. I think it would have been better if I could taste the Parmesan cheese but there was very little on there even though I said I could have it. Maybe they where scared that I got allergy from it.
My friend got a ham and cheese ball that was very special. One liked it and the other didn’t. So I guess it’s a place if you really want the Italian charm where “the chef / owner is always right”. It was not for me even though I have eaten pizza all around the world and rated them all my life. It’s my favorite thing.
The ham was nice, the veggie okay too, bread tasty but the lack of parmasan cheese was my issue. I also asked to have the pepperoni on but the waiter/owner said no. I asked: "so i cant have the pepperoni?" and he said "no it's not good - we know best!". And I was already shocked by this response.
If you are not allergic you might very...
Read moreLovely and wonderful small restaurant with Luca as a tremendous host, so compassionate about the food. The food indeed is delicate delicious, all fresh, homemade by Enzo. You taste the sun in the tomatoes and herbs. Starters... you want to taste them all, main courses beautifully served, vegetables grilled with the best olive oil, desserts home made, rich in taste as well, no small portions. Everything on your plate so colourfully served. Lunch was amazing, fresh made pasta with funghi, a lot, and creamy sauce, (for me), as well as the chicken dish, juicy with grilled vegetables and potatoes in seasalt and rosemarin, for my husband, it was heavenly. As dessert applecake and pannacota with fresh fruit. Coffee, grappa and I asked for a small limoncello, the best! I am not going to say what we had to pay but we were speechless, this is amazing, please find it out for yourselves. A jewel! You have to make reservations for the evening as Luca wants to keep it small and intimate to give his best possible service. Wines are in all variety and with enough choices to please everyone. Luca speaks fluent Italian (of course), English, Spanish and even French.
The take away counter is mouth watering and if you call afore he will have your dish ready to collect whenever it suits you. All in all it will not be the last time we have visited this lovely happy...
