Alicia Café Guadalmina — Restaurant in Marbella

No muy buena experiencia. Llegue al local, no muy destacable en mi opinión. Al llegar, para empezar no me hacen ni caso.En especial una señora mayor que parecía la encargada 2 personas allí y pasando de mi. Me dispongo a echar un vistazo ya que quiero probar algo que este rico y espero encontrar alli. No veo gran cosa y decido sentarme y esperar a que me atiendan y me recomienden. Mientras tanto, llegan clientas al establecimiento, de muy buen nivel económico al aparecer, que son atendidas y saludadas de inmediato Con mas de una...Entablando conversaciones, mientras la señora y la otra chica, siguen pasando de mi. Pasados 5 minutos, solo 2 perdonas estabamos sentados, en el loca, al fin me viene la chica. Al preguntarle..."que tenéis ó recomendais?" Me responde: lo que ves en las entanterias y en la cartta.." y digo hay de todo? Me responde que si...cuando parecia obvio que no. Total que me vuelvo a levantar y pido la unica tarta disponible que vi claramente y le tuve que pedir que me dijera que tarta era, porque si no, tampoco me lo dice.

Café excelente Tarta mediocre no soy un experto pero no sirves una tarta así que era imposible de cortar o pinchar cin el tenedor. Ya que literalmente se rompía...se deshacia.desagradable a la vista. En mi opinión.

Al.pedir la cuenta, veo que me cobran mas por estar sentado en la mesa. No es que estuviera a 100 metros, no Estaba a 3 metros y dentro del local, ni si quiera, estaba fuera en la terraza.

Casi un euro más, para una tarta que no se merecia ser servida. Seguían llegando señoras a la hora del café y la señora mayor, se desvivia por las clientas que allí llegaban. Ni un hola, ni un adiós por supuesto, no seria un buen cluente para merecer una atención de esa señora.

Conclusión:. Me habían hablado muy bien de este lugar y llevaba tiempo queriendo ir y con muy buenas expectativas.

Mi experiencia no fue buena. Por tanto no vuelvo y no lo recomiendo. Por esos precios uno espera más calidad y sobre todo mejor, atención en el...

The location is lovely with a small garden; coffee, great and the pastries, delicious especially the croissants made with butter. I have been going for years and the big off putting element is that the staff starts closing up the terrace WAY before the closing time( three quarters of an hour before closing time)and starts sweeping the floors and packing away very much before closing time; it made us feel unwelcome and rushed to finish. Also please bring back the table service( pre -covid) it is so much more of an upmarket feel when you get table service and not have to queue like at...

Thought I would venture to try the Alicia's in Guadalmina and very sad that I did. Rude and ignorant staff who with more than 2 hours before closing very tidying up and putting stuff away! Then had the inability to make a Sombra coffee, the lady behind the counter said in a loud Spanish voice " just give the idiot a cafe con Leche, he won't know the difference" clearly thinking I didn't understand or speak Spanish and to compound issues then charged me E8.95 for a coffee and a raspberry tart. Definitely won't be going back. How is this so different to the one just down the road...
