Nice Flavors, But the Experience Fell a Bit Short
I visited this Japanese spot for the first time with a friend for a girls’ night out. The atmosphere was simple and relaxed—not particularly special, but comfortable enough. We were excited to try the food and unwind with a bottle of Rosé.
Flavor-wise, everything we ordered tasted good! I had the chicken gyozas and chicken teriyaki. The gyozas were quite tasty, though surprisingly small—probably the tiniest I’ve ever had. The teriyaki had good flavor as well, but the portion was on the smaller side. I was still a bit hungry afterward. My friend ordered sushi, and her rolls were a good size, so perhaps some dishes are more generous than others.
One thing that stood out was the pace of service. It felt a bit rushed, like they were trying to move things along quickly. Toward the end of our meal, we were told we had to vacate the table for a reservation, even though there were a few empty tables and no visible guests waiting. That caught us off guard, especially since we hadn’t quite finished our wine.
Overall, the food was tasty and the place has potential, but the experience felt a little too hurried for a relaxed dinner out. Hopefully just an off night, but I’m not sure I’d be in a...
