A Memorable Thai Culinary Experience at Koh Thai Marbella

During my visit to Marbella last summer, I had the pleasure of dining at Koh Thai Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled in San Pedro de Alcántara. The restaurant offers an authentic Thai dining experience, with a menu that showcases the rich flavors and textures of traditional Thai cuisine.

One standout dish was the Chicken with Cashew Nuts, known in Thai as “Pad Med Ma Muang Him Ma Pharn.” To enhance the meal, I paired it with steamed jasmine rice, which absorbed the flavorful sauce perfectly. For those who prefer a hint of sweetness, coconut rice is also an excellent accompaniment.

Beyond this dish, Koh Thai offers a variety of stir-fry dishes and Thai curries that are equally delightful. The restaurant’s commitment to authentic flavors and quality ingredients is evident in every dish. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff provides attentive and friendly service.

I had an unforgettable experience at Koh Thai in Marbella From the moment we stepped in, the warm atmosphere and beautiful decor already promised an authentic Thai experience.

Every dish was a perfect balance of flavors: bold, vibrant, and deeply comforting, just as true Thai cuisine should be. We particularly loved the [Signature Dish, e.g., “Tom Yum Goong” or “Pad Thai”], which was a masterpiece of taste and presentation.

Chef Anee came out to greet guests personally, and you can truly feel the passion and heart she pours into every plate. Her attention to detail and respect for traditional Thai flavors elevated the entire dining experience.

The service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They happily recommended dishes based on our preferences and even explained the ingredients and stories behind them.

Dine here for 5x now. The food is amazing, very recommendable. I only have this bad experience with the waiter who always rude to me since the first time I dine here. I just keep coming back because of the amazing rich food. The first time was, I just asked him if they have coffee, he said yes and my follow up question was like, do you have mocha coffee? He responded, we are a restaurant not a coffee shop! Which made me shocked though I know that it is a restaurant, it may be sounds like a stupid question(mocha coffee?) but he shouldn’t reply that way and I just let it slide cuz he may be just stressed or tired by that time but still not nice. And now I just asked if they have wifi, he stared at me in a sharp eye and responded with a rude tone ”momento vale!” And when he’s about to put the plate, instead of saying “excuse me”, he said PUEDO??? in a high tone and frowned face....
