We had a table booked on a Sunday in order for us to eat dinner and then attend the Boho Sunday event. Our dinner was delicious and our waiter was amazing. Our bill came to over €300 which I was surprised at considering we had only starts and mains and 1 bottle of wine. The waiter then told us it was time to move out of the restaurant as they were turning it over for the Boho event. He made sure we were given a symbol on our hands to show we were allowed to be there and then showed us the way to the outside bar where we continued our evening. The venue got very busy as people came to attend Boho Sunday. We were enjoying at the outside bar and eventually made some friends who had paid for beds on the beach outside. We sat here for most of the evening and enjoyed. Due to the busy nature, myself and my partner lost each other between using the toilets. My partner went to the front of the venue where it was quieter in order to ring my phone. When he came back towards the main area, a bouncer told him he was not allowed to re-enter the venue. My partner explained the situation, and the bouncer told him he must pay €400 to come back to the venue as a 'VIP'. At this point, my partner was worried about me as there were lots of drunk people inside the venue and I was still alone inside. The bouncer would NOT let my partner back in until he paid. Therefore, my partner paid the bouncer but only had his Revolut travel card to pay. The bouncer then told my partner he had to pay it DIRECTLY to a bank account. He put in the bank details on my partners banking app. Later on, we realised that this was NOT a bank account associated with Playa Padre, it was the bouncer's personal bank account!!!! Due to the language barrier, and my partner having alcohol in his system, he did not realise this was happening, he thought he was paying Playa Padre. I contacted Playa Padre the next day asking for them to deal with this bouncer, we had his full name and photograph. I showed evidence of the transaction, I event sent them photographs of us on the beach to prove our location (the email was firstly suggesting we had been in a VIP area which was what cost us this €400 but then later changed their story saying we had made a private transaction). They basically refused to take accountability for their member of staff's wrongdoing. They said evenutally said they had inquired with the alleged bouncer, and the bouncer told them my partner had made a "private transaction" with him (I am presuming he was indicating towards a drug deal as there were so many people taking drugs inside the venue). I will NEVER visit Playa Padre again. After a beautfiul, romantic afternoon having dinner, and enjoying the Boho Sunday atmosphere which was a little out of our comfort zone, we were left totally disappointed with the way the venue dealt...
Read moreAwful place. My boyfriend and I (25 and 27) went here to celebrate our engagement a few days before. If you’re not spending 12K on a table, don’t bother going here. We came to see PAWSA dj here and were treated awfully. They charged €500 euros for entry into the main bit, mis sold it as €100 online until you got there and realised you couldn’t stand anywhere near the DJ you could see or even really hear. So they completely tricked everyone with this by removing everyone from the room and saying you had to pay €500 extra EACH to actually go into the party. Later on, outside the room and just around the beach club area which is where you have to stand if you didn’t pay the €500 (you’re basically stood on the beach), we were told so rudely by a member of staff if we didn’t move away from someone’s table, who we were a few metres away from, we could be ‘removed immediately’ from the venue. Staff even made a pregnant lady who was sat on a stool which was still a metre away from the table, stand up also, or threatened to remove her even though she wasn’t bothering anyone. Also, as soon as it got to 8pm, if you didn’t pay the guy on the toilet €65 he straight up refused to let you in? I told the guy I was going to tell the management and he said ‘go on take a photo as well’ and posed for a photo?! We qued for the toilet for over 45 mins to be told pay or get out the line. So we left around 9.45pm (only 3 hours after the start) when it was on until 1am and after spending €1000 on entry and drinks and couldn’t stand anywhere other than basically the beach or use the toilet. I have complained to the venue on the way out, and was told if you don’t have a table then basically tough. After contacting them since via WhatsApp, they’ve told me there’s nothing that can be done and once again basically tough. We also have an apartment in Marbella and come for months at a time for the past 12 years and this is the worst place we have ever been to. Whether your local or tourist visiting, don’t waste your time or money. Awful place, avoid avoid avoid. We felt insulted and upset by the entire experience here when it should have been a celebratory...

The waiter dropped a crate of 6 wine bottles on my friend’s foot. He didn’t care and just walked away, leaving my friend to be helped by other customers. We asked for a manager 10 times, but no one came. One waiter even said, “You understand, we have &me today, we’re busy, we have better things to do, no one is going to come to see you,” while her foot was bleeding and likely broken. We waited 2 hours, constantly asking for help, but no one came. We then approached security and the women at the entrance. They carried my friend out and left her on the other side of the street. This is a clear case of failing to assist a person in danger. This place is dangerous, as are the people who work there. We are shocked by how we were treated.
Update 2: Dangerous place. 20 policemen came and cut the musique, they blocked the entrance and no one can leave. They seem to be looking for someone.
Update: Have you ever seen a place where the server serves someone before you? You tell them you were there first and they respond: I don't care and serve the other customer anyway, even though you've been waiting in line for 10 minutes and the person just arrived? please note that the person who stole my place was Spanish and I am Arab. I am sincerely chocked by the way you treat your customers.
Firstly, the strict policy of requiring guests to return their tables within two hours was poorly communicated and enforced. This created unnecessary pressure and detracted from our ability to enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff’s approach towards enforcing this policy was disappointing, as they became noticeably impatient as our time approached, making us feel rushed and unwelcome.
Additionally, the service fell short of expectations. While initially attentive, the waitstaff’s attitude became indifferent and at times, borderline arrogant. Basic requests were met with impatience, and there was a lack of genuine hospitality throughout our meal.
Although the food itself was decent, it failed to compensate for the overall negative experience created by the rushed atmosphere and...
