Dear all, I wrote my feedback regarding my bad experience at the Real Club Padel club a few months ago. For some reason my review was removed and I also noticed that another bad reviews written by other people in the past were removed too. I would like to share my experience with this club one more time. Please read it below. I am writing this review in order to explain about an accident and the worst experience which happened to me on the 21st of November 2022 at the Real Club Padel Marbella. I went into the shower room and slipped as a floor was very wet and slippery, not only in the shower room but in whole changing room. During my fall, I grabbed a swing door of the shower room with my fingers to protect myself from falling. As a result I was badly injured and had to go to the hospital where I had my finger stitched under anesthesia which caused me a lot of mental and physical pain. It has also effected my financial situation because I am not able to work fully. I have provided a receipt of my medical treatment at the hospital to the club and I was kindly asking them to cover all my medical treatment cost. They refused to pay my medical expenses and accused me of not being careful at the changing room. Elena Pruma, the manager of the club affirmatively advised me not to go to court as I would lose the case anyway and they have faced such cases in the past and always won them in the court. I also asked for the phone number of the owner of the club Aaron Valverde Acevedo and expected a call from him. She explained to me that he is a very busy man and he doesn’t have time to call me. As a result, I had to pay all my medical expenses. No sympathy and understanding was shown by the club staff and the owner, who never called me and ignored the whole situation. I have shared this information with you in order to warm you and be careful in the future when you use machines at the gym or simple going to the changing room since the floor is always wet and you can slip at any time. If you get injured, you will be left with your problems alone, pay your medical bills, and you will not see a sense of compassion. I wish everyone a good...
Read moreI've been training here for 2+ years, focusing on lifting, Jiujitsu at Flow Academy, and strength and conditioning with a trainer.
The facility is a playground for adults, offering everything from powerlifting and CrossFit to Pilates, Padel, cold plunges, octagons, boxing rings, classes, a full service restaurant, barber, salon and more.
Carlos Varona, @carlosvaronabjj, leads one of the best BJJ classes on the coast. His class attracts a diverse range of skill levels and bodies, including drop-ins from around Europe due to the tourist traffic that comes to Marbella which is great. Carlos, offers impeccably detailed technique instruction. He's an excellent professor, breaking down techniques simply and effectively, with classes following a structured monthly format.
Antonio at the barber shop is also one of the BEST barbers in the area. He’s been cutting my BFs hair since we found him. A guy who is phenomenal at his craft, very precise, top-notch professionalism.
@gabri_coach, one of the MMA/Muay Thai coaches, is highly sought after in the gym, particularly for fighters in camps or looking to level up. He’s quite credentialed, well connected to therapists, nutrition and beyond. He has quite a roster of athletes and is a really genuine character too. Over the last six months, he's played a crucial role in improving my strength and conditioning.
Finally, the cafe has really great coffee and the staff are super friendly.
Memberships are 70€ with so much included and the drop ins are I think around 15€ which is a great value considering you can really spend the whole day there between all the activities they offer.
There is also dog sitting and child-care on site too. Honestly the services they offer is extensive. If you’re visiting and coming to lift, peak hours are very busy. 2-5 is the best...
Read moreGreat space, every piece of equipment you could ask for. Supreme location with tons of parking. Front desk staff are very nice. Don’t use the change rooms and definitely don’t use the showers. There’s no way they can keep them clean and they are too small. It’s that simple. 🤣
Suggestions:
Buy more stairmasters, people are fighting for them. Two stairmasters is not enough for a gym with this traffic. Couples will camp them out for hours. Get rid of some treadmills and get stairmasters instead.
BAN THE FREELANCE TRAINERS. They are rude entitled jerks, interrupt guests during sets, camp out entire areas and pieces of equipment all day. Yesterday a freelance trainer asked me 3 times within the span of 6 minutes when I would be done. Every time I attempted to tell her what I was doing she sneered at me or pretended she didn’t understand me. Pretty stupid because I had a whole conversation with her two weeks ago. I take heart rate increasing medication and have to lower my HR between sets. This was not possible with this woman and her 4 male friends and two clients hovering over me standing in the box the whole time. I complained about her, and the guys she was with shouted “hey princess” at me when I walked past to enter the gym again. This is intimidating from 4 roided up dudes. They are always standing directly in front of the only entrance and are unavoidable. What do they offer the ambience gym? I think you will know exactly who I am referring to. Are they paying more to train clients? For that reason I will switch to I/O when my membership is finished.
Hire somebody whose only job is to put the weights away because the clientele here can’t be bothered and it’s a...
