We had an absolutely amazing lunch here. To start, we shared a few dishes: thinly sliced steak with foie gras, grilled octopus, and fried calamari. For the main course, we had fresh cod “pil pil” and cod with tomato. The boys had hake in seafood sauce. Everything was pure, full of flavor. Finger-licking good!
We were the only tourists. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, though he barely spoke any English. Still, we understood each other just fine. One of the other guests jumped in as an impromptu translator, and the staff spoke a bit of English too.
The language of good food needs no translation. And to be honest, that’s a big plus for us. We love honest, authentic places and try to avoid touristy hotspots.

Las cervezas bien de precio. La tarta helada, buena y bien de precio. Personal muy atento y servicial. Ambiente bueno, pero caluroso ya que hemos estado en el piso de arriba y eso influye. Nos informan que el aire acondicionado lo han parado debido a la demanda de electricidad de la cocina que provoca cortes de luz. Pasadas las apreturas de la cocina lo activaron.
