Visited for a takeaway on 5th September, we enjoyed a cold beer and a glass of wine while we waited for our order to be made and a complimentary order of onion bhaji, very nice too. We complimented the wine and were rewarded with a free bottle to take with us (my kind of restaurant!) We ordered the assorted starters which to be honest were not great but I think they suffered from not being fresh, the onion bhaji was lovely so would not recommend the assorted starter as a takeaway but would be better eat in. Lamb Balti, very meaty, full of flavour and the lamb was nice and tender, the butter chicken special, very creamy and lovely flavour (a little too creamy for us), the chicken jalfrezi, wonderful flavour perfect amount of spice and the best dish of the evening. All in all an excellent British style Indian curry, next time we will eat in so we can enjoy the starters freshly made, definitely...
