I suppose the first indicators that we may be in for a bad experience, and should probably have run as quickly to the exit as my mother was to the toilet the next day, was the waiter simply pouring us our warm rose wine without letting us taste it (and tell him how warm it was). He then insisted that the wine wasn't warm. I think that wine had had as much sun as my sunburnt dad that afternoon!
I asked for a bowl of olives and was told that this, an Italian restaurant, could not serve them. Little Italy? Little Italian about that!
I was also a bit concerned when I noticed that the common Italian herb oregano was misspelt on the menu. Maybe it actually said orange, I would't be surprised if they were as confused as to be putting orange on the pizza. The place is as Italian as a red, white and blue flag with stars on it.
My mother ordered a fisherman's risotto. Sadly, the food was as tasty as though it was regurgitated by the fisherman and sadly the next day my mum spent the next 24 hours regurgitating that meal herself.
The charge was disproportionate to the quality. It was over-priced. I strongly advise that you give Little Italy little time and little of your money - make that none if you wish to enjoy your holiday without your head stuck...
Read moreI have eaten many many pizzas in My life, but these (I had Da Vinci and a buddy had Margahrita) are at least in the TOP 10 worst pizzas of them. They are shamefully bad. Dont want to be guilty of false accusations but they definitely looked and tasted like pizzas from the fridge, I also Ate a lot of those so I should know. Cant explain some of the positive critics here, maybe they are from nordic countrys where Pizza is foreign? Nothing for any self respecting middle european. I saw the fish dishes they also serve, they looked fine, but I didnt try them. Ambiente is ok. Only tourists. Sadly one star at best
Edit: I was friendly, but the response I got from the owner is nothing short of fraud. Let me be honest this time: Every Pizzamaker With an ounce of honor would have to admit this Pizza is the absolute bottom of the barrel, barely worth the title "pizza". I have eaten pizzas that were Produced on the lowest of budgets, and still 10x better than this garbage. So There are 2 possiblitys: Ether ja Scam your customers knowingly Or you dont even know your craft in the tiniest bit. I tried to be objective at First, not harm you, but warn customers who are interested in taste. But you insult me, so There is no reason to...
Read morewhere should I start. we first asked for a tall bottle of water for the table, the waiter told us they had no talk bottles left, so we order 3 small individual bottles of water, only to see our waiter bring the table beside us a big bottle of water! my husband asked the waiter how all of a sudden they have tall bottles and we were told they just found the one.. that was nonsense cause he handed out 3 more while we were there. Then we waited over 20 minutes for our waiter to come back and take our order, the place was pretty empty so I'm not sure why it took so long. Now on to our food, my daughter got the child's grilled chicken with chips, I got basic spaghetti with meat sauce and the hubby got a pizza. once the food arrived (45 mins later) my daughters chicken looked like a pancake. it was flat and tasted like cardboard, my pasta was fine, (but really how can you screw up pasta). and same with the pizza, but I wasn't offered cheese or anything and no one came to check on us or anything. THIS IS NOT AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT! I was the one who had to go find the waiter to get the bill. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE... this place isn't...
