Absolute wonderful experience and a must for anyone … so know need to read anymore. Get it booked.
Our family booked this from the high score already in Google reviews and the only reason we choose this over the Bay of Bengal was because the dining area was open and airy - big tick for hot evening before you even sit down.
The owner has spent a lot of time renovating the restaurant when close during Covid and has done a fantastic job - even the toilets were getting praised 😂
The food…. All I can say is probably one of the best if not the best I have had and I have been to India a few times and ate a lot of curry in my time. I asked for a recommendation and the owner said he would do an off the menu lamb Desi masala - out of this world. Fall off the bone meat. Delicious sauce and just the right spice and heat.

Read moreAte here with my husband and son. All looked good to start with. Ordered starters and two came out really quickly which was great. Mine however came out 10 minutes later. I had the lamb madras and my wife the chicken rogan josh, both meals were authentic Indian, not only did the madras have the lovely hot sour taste there were levels of curry flavour that takes skill to make and the rogan josh had lovely deep tomato quality. Further to this it was nice to see a tikka with chips on the menu for the kids which they happily polished off. The poppadoms were good quality though I wished the lime pickle was hotter (but that's personal preference) and the naan bread was excellent. The only thing we wished for was a larger dessert selection but we did enjoy the kulfi ice cream. The service was excellent and...
