Bridges Bar — Restaurant in Mijas

My brother, his friend and I, stopped in for a bite to eat the other morning and the lady that served us barely spoke to us, didn’t make eye contact at all and questioned (in a condescending way) our orders for food. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were just under pressure with service even though they interacted with and laughed and joked with others around us but the part that made us realise that we were actually being poorly treated out of CHOICE was when my brothers friend asked our server politely if he could aim a fan that was pointing at an empty table towards us as we were really warm and he was met with a sigh, an eye roll and a dismissive “fine.”. When we had finished our food we genuinely waited for about 10 minutes for them to come and take our plates away before continuing to ignore us even though we had done nothing wrong. We were continuously walked past and worked around as we tried to catch someone’s attention to ask for the bill so we could move on (for about 15 minutes). At this stage the restaurant had calmed down and there was a lot less people around while our server decided to go around adjusting chairs slightly instead of actually serving us. When we eventually asked for the bill we had to pretty much call after her to have any chance of actually getting it and even then we had to ask twice for it before it was brought to us! We then placed the money on the plate to pay and we proceeded to wait about another 10 minutes for them to not take it so I then had to go to the bar under their noses so I could actually pay and even then I still felt as if we were being treated as if we had done something wrong? We are three well mannered young lads that just wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading off for the day and the poor service really put our day off to...

The best cooked English breakfast on the Costa, specially at the price.

We visited a lot when we were having our new kitchen fitted, as we could not cook for a week. Spending a week having breakfast here did not do any good to my waist line!

Last week we went back after a few months that I needed to lose the extra pounds, and it is still just as great and how we remembered it.

They also do great pancakes, omelettes, etc., so great place if you are not a meat eater.

Value for money is unbeatable, and the atmosphere in the evenings is lively and fun.

It can get very busy, so choose your time...

Wow... 2 customers plus my good self .. no breakfast menu after 1pm beacuse the chef doesnt want to ...jajajajaja to funny, basiiiiil.. defintley a fawlty towers comedy sketch this one...to put into prospective the breakast menu is very similar to the lunch offerings for instance a roll bacon no its breakfast must be a BLT or a lunch omletter but not a breakfasr fried egg.. i was there at 13:03 i love when the workers dictate the menu.. basiiiiL 🙋‍♂️ manuel please..maybe i should have stayed but cleary oozing i dont want to work vibes are not for me, and many other resteraunts that dont care about...
