La Tablita Steakhouse — Restaurant in Mijas

Thank you for a wonderful evening - the first after arriving in Spain. a small place, very inconspicuous, close to a busy street - but it doesn't bother me at all because .... food, atmosphere and service was top notch!!! The lady waitress and Mr. cook with a wide smile despite the language barrier were very helpful and we managed to choose everything to drink and eat without any problems with lots of laughter and joy. starters (excellent - the best avocado tartare), 2 courses - delicious meat perfectly fried) and a brilliant dessert as a gift (it's a pity that we were already so full ... ) THANK YOU...

Very small but friendly restaurant serving excellent food. A good choice of Wines but needs to be picked from a board however, we were helped by the staff to find a good red wine. We were also helped with the selection for starters and main courses. All the food was superbly cooked and presented. Steaks were excellent quality and cooked as ordered. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the Steaks. Although close to the A7 and La Cala it's in a quiet area and hopefully will...

We stopped here on the way back from El Faro. 2 lovely starters basically tapas style black pudding ( morcilla) with 2 sauces and an avocado with finely chopped vegetables. Both were beautiful. For mains I had a gorgeous sirloin steak with French fries and my wife had a mixed salad with French fries.. I finished with a typical Argentinian dessert which was lovely. Add on 3 sparkling waters and a glass of rose and the bill was €50 excellent...
