Streets of London — Restaurant in Mijas

A pub on the edge of la cala de mijas, nothing special about the decor. We booked Sunday lunch for 3pm. Shown to our table on arrival, drinks order taken and delivered and menu's given, then quite a wait to order food so asked waitress if we could order as we were ready, she sent different waitress to take the order. But I must say the food which arrived quite quickly was delicious, we had roast pork which was succulent with Mash, roast potatoes, vegetables and the lightest Yorkshire pudding I have ever had. Absolutely brilliant meal again had Sunday lunch what was all home cooked with as much gravy as you wanted i had 3 meats as its only 1 euro per extra meat which was still excellent value i had the 3 course so had a lovely salad & the dessert was to die for Baileys cheesecake with ice cream then just been for 2 for 1 on a Tuesday & Thursday i must say the steak pie & chips & peas was absolutely gorgeous there was absolutely loads of big chucks of steak with the large pastry top, excellent quality meal again will try to get here again even though we already booked in straight away for the Sunday...

Had a really good New Year's Eve meal here. First time we had eaten here and will definitely go back, soon. Delicious fresh, home-made food. Ample quantities and very good value for money. I had fresh cod on a bed of rice with parsley sauce. Perfectly cooked. My friends had home made steak pies that looked amazing! They said that they were the best steak pies that they had ever tasted-the meat was succulent, and just melted in the mouth. They also have a great karaoke on Saturday nights. I cannot sing my praises of 'The Streets of London'...
