Restaurante Nueve Dragones — Restaurant in Mijas

We as a family have visited this restaurant and number of times and this is the second time this year. Every other visit has been five out of five but this occasion wasn't as good. The restaurant was full and the staff couldn't cope. The welcome from our initial arrival was poor with the waiter being miserable and just pointed to a table outside. The service was very slow and poor. Food was as good as always so we will (for now) put it down to a bad day. Always...

Possibly because we come from the states, this is just an “ok” restaurant, not good/great, but not horrible. I think what saves it is the service. Everyone is friendly as soon as you come in, rather quick service, but the food is not what I expected with the rating it had. Our spring rolls were small and “semi burned”, the texture of the beef was chewy and strange, the rice was bland, etc. Prices are decent - would I come back ? I’d rather try something else...

We visited here on Tuesday night on our arrival we were made to feel very welcome and the food was amazing we then had to go on our last night and again we were remembered from the previous night and the welcome we received was brilliant.. staff are brilliant and deliver first class service and go out there way to make sure everything is ran perfectly for there customers.. food was amazing would highly recommend and we will be definitely...
