Villa tropicana beach, Mijas — Restaurant in Mijas

Get place for drinks, food and great for sunbathing. The staff is very accommodating. My girlfriend was on the sunbed as I was at the bar because I'm 1/2 Scottish so the fair skin, ginger hair(what I've got left of it) and sun does not mix very well). We wanted something to eat and I asked if possible if we can eat on the sun beds and the staff member was very helpful and said was OK and was willing to take the food to her.

I've been coming to El faro (Spain) for over 20 years + (even tho I'm only 27) and this has always been my place to go for the three s's, sun, sea and............... Sand. Defo worth a visit cocktails is on point. What else you need when your on holiday? Hope you enjoy your visit. And this review comes in handy.

If management can see this. I'm sure you was sitting behind me on the phone, with a great goatie. (from previous visits I have ment you) please congratulate your staff on a wonderful and warming welcome from first to last second of being here.

Love love love this beach and the cafe. People running this place are fantastic, so friendly. The food is superb and the strawberry mojitas are to be tried. The umbrellas on the beach are so pretty. Who's have thought a beach by the main road of this costa could be a haven? It was though. If you're in the area of Fuenguirola give it a go. Restaurant/ bar opens at night and stays open in the Spanish style until the night is over. A tranquil spot, playing South American chill out jazz tunes, with live sax on a Sunday afternoon and fresh fish cooking on open air grills. What's not to love? Oh and the tortillas...

Lovely setting by the sea . Have been a few times but seems to be more disappointing each visit. This time the service was incredibly slow ( even on mañana time) . The Gambas Pil Pil still had the alimentary canal intact . The Rosada and the Bacalao were served in a really thick batter. The Paella was dry, and the dreadful food came at a shocking price… 6€ for a ration of chips because neither the Rosada or Bacalao came with any side dish ? Last time we went we were disappointed, this time determined not to return. Such a shame as it was for a birthday celebration and it really put a dampener on...
