Village Café Sl — Restaurant in Mijas

Waitress tried to rip us off. Fewer than 10 customers in the whole place so no excuse for poor service. We ordered a tea, a coffee and a piece of cake. One of the cups was so dirty it looked like she had brought it over from a table where someone had already had their coffee in it. We got a filthy look from her for asking for a clean one. After 15 minutes we had not got the cake so went to pay at the counter, she swore we had eaten it but couldn't find the imaginary plate on the table so took it off the bill. To add insult to injury she then short changed us. Another argument ensued but luckily her colleague had seen we had given her a note so...

Absolutely horrible food. I ordered a smoothie that I expected to be fresh, but it wasn't, and it tasted bland. The chicken wrap with lettuce and tomato was more like a tomato wrap with chicken. The chicken tasted of nothing at all (I don't even know how that's possible), and the tomato was BOILED!! The wrap tasted like water with a hint of flavor. The side consisted of two slices of tomato and a few leaves of lettuce. Terrible. I don't like burger king, but considering it's right next door to this café, I would advice whoever is reading this to just go there instead. At least burger king tastes...

La dueña (Vanesa) es la persona mas borde y mal educada que jamás he visto trabajando cara al público. Tuvimos un pequeño mal entendido con uno de los empleados al cobrarnos de más, se lo comentamos ( de manera totalmente natural y tranquila) y ella reacciono como si no tuviéramos derecho a decir absolutamente nada, empezó a hacer un monólogo (sin dejarnos hablar y cuando conseguía decir algo ni siquiera escuchaba lo que decías) de manera desafiante. También nos acuso de dejar a uno de sus empleados como mentiroso, que nosotros jamás tuvimos esa intención, simplemente ella nunca quiso dedicarle 30 segundo a escucharnos y entender lo que pasó. Se hubiera solucionado todo al momento. Había desayunado en este lugar varias veces ( no muchas) ya que el desayuno deja mucho que desear, pero por trabajo a veces tomamos café o desayunamos en este lugar. En definitiva, si antes tampoco me hacia mucha gracia este sitio ya que esta muy orientado al turismo y es caro, ahora que el trato a sido tan sumamente desagradable ( por parte de Vanesa y solo de Vanesa, los demás son correctos y amables) no volveremos a ir. HAY QUE TENER MEJOR ACTIDUD CARA AL PÚBLICO Y POR LO MENOS DEJAR QUE LA GENTE SE EXPRESE. LA EDUCACIÓN ES GRATUITA SO...
