Today we were a 👨👩👧👦partyof 12 👨👩👦👦 4 very small kids elest is 9 youngest is 🐵2🐵We arrived at 10:30 & left the park at 17:30 we drove by car from Alhurine de la torre.
My lasting impression is I personally think the park is best suited to younger children overall 14months-9 yrs, the rides minimum height restricts some rides to children under 1.15m. But there was quite a few fun things for really little ones to do in the splash park, the 💦wave machine💦 we found to be very poor even compared to the 🌊 Swindon Oasis🌊 just down the rd from us in Bristol, entrance fee online was 😱€20plus per adult and 😱€17 per child proved to be 💰💰💰expensive💰💰💰 but it didnt end there☹, to so say "guarantee you a chance" at going straight on a ride they offer a FULL Day's hire for a double float at €9 & €7 for a single float but N.B. this is for HALF DAY hire but a €10 deposit on each of these can soon swallow up your spending money
Also €4 Safe gets you a 🔎very small safe hire🔎(dont think a 10" tablet would fit in there though), remember PLUS your €5 deposit for valuables eg wallets phones loose change and very very small items like jewellery, these really arent very big so dont take to many items, haversacks and hand bags have to be stored in separate baskets at €4 hire/€5 deposit🤔.....I wonder if they've heard of a "locker" before🤔 all this coupled with a €4.50 per sun bed hire can prove for a very expensive day out especially when you consider that you CAN go on ALL the rides bar the White river WITHOUT THE NEED for float hire!! I was told its 2€ for a changing room should you want to change privately, but I didnt need this so I cant guarantee those prices. You can bring your own food but no Glass for 🏥🚑obvious reasons🚑🏥
I have given it 2 stars because i didnt hate it as it served a purpose with our small children but it does not compare with the likes of 👌Siam park in Tenerife👌 for example as its 🐾footprint 🐾is very very small, but its well laid out, just confusing when it comes to trying to go on the rides themselves, the huge waits between slides⏳ 15-20 ⌛mins and thats with hire of rings etc and also trying to 🤯navigate to the ride 🤯you actually wanted wasnt all that clear🤪.
Overall it definitely came across as a 💶money milking machine💶 and I left feeling somewhat fleeced.💸🧤💨💥
Would I recommend it?...... 🙁👎No, not really👎🙁 especially when you could have just as much fun on 🏖the beach🏖, or your own hotel/villa pool. 😔Sorry...
Read moreVisited from our holiday in malaga today. First slide we decided to go on the lifeguard told my friend she could not go on as she was pregnant, which she was NOT and did not look like she was, might I add. The incident was upsetting but we moved on and went to go on the slide, as we reached the top, the second life guard stopped us from going down and told us he has been radioed an SOS because she "may" be pregnant. This time was friend was very upset(understandably) as we had previous corrected the first lifeguard who was very rude and completely unapologetic. She now didn't want to go on the slide so we walked back down, as we reached the bottom, now passing the first lifeguard again, he was telling the life guard of another slide that she was pregnant!!!! I'm not sure if he thought if he told enough people it would become true but I'm pretty sure that's not how pregnancy works! My friend was in tears at this point so I decided we would leave. I then spent 15 minutes telling a lovely woman at the office what had happened, she was very apologetic but had to get the manager to get our money back. He was no good! He asked pointless questions (which were having to be relayed by the unfortunate English speaking lovely woman), he seemed unaffected by the whole thing! He kept asking (through the woman) if she was definitely not pregnant?!?! Probably 5 times! Then when it was clear she was too upset for me to even bother asking if she would stay, he asked how long we had been there! Luckily(it seems) for us, we had only been there an hour and had yet to step foot on an attraction. The manager did not try to apologise, even in Spanish, he looked at me with no empathy for the awful situation his lifeguards had put my friend through! We eventually got a refund which I fully credit the woman I spoke to for! The lifeguard was rude and cruel and should have taken our word for it! The park should write into the policy that pregnant people cannot ride and if they chose to, it is at their own risk, in order to avoid such situations which can be incredibly damaging and upsetting for a young woman. In all, ruined our day trip and although we had a refund for the park, that doesn't account for the additional 30 euros spent on travel and the lockers! Would not recommend until they train their lifeguards to have more...
Read moreThe only excuse to go here is to stop your kids from begging to go. First off, there are different age categories with according prices i.e. 3-6, 7-11 and 12-adult. Our boys are 6 (will be 7 in 2 weeks), very tall and both have their swimming certificates. However many slides are only accessible as from the age of 7, resulting in much smaller kids and kids with swimming aids to be allowed in whereas my boys weren't. Not even together with us (parents and both good swimmers). This clearly has nothing to do with safety and everything with money. They clearly used to have a policy allowing children over 115 cm in the slides (which makes sense) but chose to change it into an age limit at some stage. Secondly they purposely do not invest in extra tubes for the slides, creating a shortage and hence long queues. You have to queue for a tube, carry it up the stairs and queue again for the slide itself. That is, UNLESS you rent you own tube for an additional 11,5/16€ per day for a double/single tube. Thirdly, when renting the tube they will tell you which rides it can be used in (the different slides have different coloured tubes to complicate matters even more) and that kids have to go with adults, not on their own, but they forget to tell you that 6 y o can't ride most slides anyways. Money down the drain. Four - everything is slow. They could easily double the capacity of the slides by better managing start times but often when there are 4 slides and 1 person has an issue, the other 3 are idle, too. Five - don't come on weekends. Far too crowded. Six - bring food and drinks. Everyone does and it's allowed as long as there is no glass in it. Options in the restaurants are mainly (poor) junk food. There is a McDonald's across the street if you crave 'decent' junk though :D Seven - be prepared to pay extra for everything: not only the tubes, but also sunbeds (6€), lockers (10€), they even cover the parks mascots (nothing special) with bags to stop people taking "free" pictures with them- hilarious. Eight - there are cold (!) showers but no individual changing rooms. Prepare to share your goodies with the world! ;-)
All in all would only recommend for small kids under 5 or above 7.
We visited on a weekday in August and most waits were 10 to 30...
