Too expensive for the quality offered. We took the buffet @13:95 each. As staters we choose Edemame, tomato and mozzarella and gyosa. The gyosa and Edemame were OK, but we did not know you could cut the mozzarella this thin! We also choose the duck panckaces. 4 pancakes for two, lots of onion and cucumber, but hardly any duck. We then choose some sushi. The product delivered nowhere looked like the pictures on the menu. Lots of rice and avocado, but in comparison little (smoked?) salmon. Tuna was simply not on offer. Got the main courses we choose the sole and the gambas. The Gambas (2 each) were overcooked and fell apart (how is this possible in Spain!?) and the tiniest of sole was provided. Again, not at all like the pictures. We choose fresh fruit salad and tiramisu as postre. Best avoided, the fruit dried out at the tiramisu tasted like tiramisu, but was made with custard. Went to Wok,La Cala for lunch today. We were warmly greeted as we entered & chose a table we would like to sit at. The host then explained the ordering system, which is via Ipad & went through the extensive choices of starters & main courses available. You can even opt for more exclusive options, such as lobster or sirloin steak & if you choose to do so, this incurs an additional cost, above the standard adult price of €19.95. Starters we ate included dumplings, prawn crackers, skewers, spring rolls, duck pancakes, prawns, ribs & chicken wings. Mains included grilled fish, Thai prawn curry, sweet & sour chicken, steak, lamb chops, noodles, sticky beef, shushi, rice ,egg fried rice. Dessert is also included in the price & we had the tiramisu, various flavoured ice cream, creme caramel,flan. Sauces & jelly sweets also available to personalize your dessert. I have been a couple of times to this place and I have been pleasantly impressed. The original set up here was a buffet style self service arrangement; now with all of the stupid covid19 regulations things are a little different. Now one of the very well mannered waiters show you to your table and give you 10 inch Huawei table. This tablet has all the different dishes that are served (which is many) shown in picture format. You select the food you want and within a minute or so it duly arrives at your table. When you want more just keep ordering in this way until your belly is ready to burst! I will certainly be going back for another belly full. A good tip is don't fill up on rice and chips (cheap stuff,) go for the steak, prawns duck and other more expensive items!
