The food is very good, wines as well, sevice efficient. But in the open kitchen I watched the headchef first scratching his hair and then without washing his hands dive right into the potatoes for the fries. Not appetizing. 5 minutes later, and this is unfortunately not a joke, I saw him dressing a plate of rice and taking pan and serving spoon over to the sink. He finished the rice and ate directly from the spoon. I thought, no harm, he will put it in the sink for washing. Nope, he rinsed both pan and said spoon and walked right back using that spoon to put new rice in the pan. So, if you don't mind a very personal touch from "chef" in your food, by all means go there. If not so much, stir clear of any rice or fries items. If you're a stickler for food hygiene, maybe another restaurant is...

Había oído muy buenos comentarios sobre este restaurante, pero la decepción ha sido total. Desde el primer momento, el trato dejó mucho que desear: al entrar, pedimos cerrar la puerta porque hacía frío y había bastante corriente, y la camarera, de muy malas formas, nos respondió que no, que nos sentáramos donde pudiéramos o que despejáramos la zona. Una vez dentro, entendimos el motivo: la cocina genera muchísimo humo y, como la extracción es insuficiente, necesitan dejar la puerta abierta. Pasando a la comida, las raciones son notablemente pequeñas, sobre todo si se comparan con las fotos promocionales que publican en Google y redes sociales. Los bombones de foie estaban demasiado fríos y con muy poco sabor. El ceviche me pareció interesante en cuanto a combinación de sabores (gamba y maracuyá), pero de nuevo, la cantidad era muy escasa. Las bravas fueron, sin duda, el plato más logrado de toda la cena. Luego llegaron los bombones de ternera, que prometían foie y salsa de trufa: el foie era prácticamente inexistente y la salsa totalmente insípida. Aún con hambre, pedimos unos callos, que si bien tenían una ración más decente, resultaron bastante faltos de sabor. Finalmente, el postre: dos bolas de helado de chocolate y pistacho, servidas directamente del congelador al plato, sin ningún tipo de presentación o elaboración. En resumen: servicio deficiente (además nos metieron prisa para acabar), raciones escasas y platos sin demasiada gracia. Una gran decepción....

Absolutely magical. Delicious food, friendly service and cozy vibe. Stumbled upon this unassuming lunch counter on a road trip. Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. I would have to recommend the meatballs and the artichokes but there were many other fantastic dishes to choose from. And the wine by the glass selection is amazing. Definitely worth a stop if you are anywhere...
