I would not recommend this restaurant for a terrible service. I ordered “Sorrentinos de espinacas, queso y nueces” but received ravioli with spinach in bolognese sauce. When I told the waiter that that’s a mistake, he asked shortly if I’m a vegetarian, took my plate and told me to wait a minute. After a few minutes he came back with a similar dish (tomato sauce with cheese and no meat this time). I started eating it and noticed no walnuts… I tried to explain the waiter once again that I suppose that I ordered something else and if he could bring me a menu to make it clear. He came back with my first plate (with meat bolognese sauce) to show me they I received a fresh prepared meal which was not the issue I wanted to discuss. When I asked about walnuts in my dish he pointed the cheese, turned back and went away…. I felt like he didn’t even try to listen. It’s completely unacceptable in a place which wants to be called a “restaurant”. If I wanted to eat anything I’d go to a supermercado. I didn’t like what I received as I ordered something else. For starter we had the squid in wine sauce and it was phenomenal, the balance of the sauce was absolutely perfect and a highlight of the evening. For mains we all chose different pastas - which are all made in house - and we can say that the four cheese black pudding tortellini was wonderful and the black pasta seafood dishes were amazing. Read moreBeen passing this restaurant twice weekly for ages on my way to pilates. Finally gave it a try early this evening after seeing the lights at Mojacar pueblo. We weren't terribly hungry, shared a salad starter and had an entrecote steak (me) and pasta (Graham). Both were lovely, freshly cooked and we were stuffed. We were first of all then brought a lovely piece of chocolate cake with cream to share, followed by a yummy individually wrapped chocolate, both on the house. The decor is lovely and our host was perfect - will definitely be back for the taster menu when we've worked up an appetite...
