We had been walking around the Pueblo (old Town) for a few hours and we started to get hungry. We had seen this restaurant before and knew it had absolutely spectacular views but had not eaten there, so we decided to give it a try.
The first impression when you walk through the small gate is stunning. A pretty little courtyard set out with tables looking out over the view toward Turre and beyond is spectacular.
We chose a table and the waitress soon took our drinks order.
The two ladies with me ordered food from the Menu del Dia at €14.50 and I went for a Pizza (€8.50) off the menu, which was a mistake as it was huge and we could easily have shared that between the three of us.
My sister had Tomatoes and Mozzarella starter which was fresh and the tomatoes were so sweet. My partner had Soup of the day but i didn't ask what flavour it was. She ate it greedily so it must have been good.
Main course my Sister had chicken breast cooked in a crispy breaded coating with veg and potatoes. This was a big portion and very tasty, nicely presented though she had to leave some of it as it was too big.
My partner had Ravioli in a rich tomato sauce and again it was excellent.
When it came to puddings the girls had to farce themselves but one had Ice cream and the other a coffee.
This was a very good value meal in an extremely attractive setting. The sun shone, the birds sang and we spent nearly two hours there. Couldn't ask for much...
Read moreWe walked into this restaurant as we could see the beautiful mountain views from the terrace, we initially went in for a drink, but after looking at the menu we were tempted to stay. We were not disappointed, the food was fresh and delicious. My Spanish is very limited, and the waiters English was too, but he was friendly and helpful and we got by just fine. The service was great. The restaurant also has an upstairs terrace (not suitable for accesibilty/disability) and also indoor seating. It is a perfect romantic backdrop to watch the sun setting. The following day I bought some girlfriends along for a mid morning drink and snack. They loved it, prices were reasonable as well. We will...
Read moreI went here on our first night of our Mojacar stay to get a takeaway pizza. The pizzas were good, but if you’re not a fan of garlic avoid them. I had an Hawaiian and it just did not taste right to me. All the same. They were good enough to go back the day after to look at the rear of the menus. My husband had sirloin stake and I had the lamb chops. Both were to die for. We followed that with a custard slice dessert. Lovely, e we it’s a beautiful sauce dripped over it. Staff was attentive and friendly. The views inside and outside at sunset are awesome. My favourite restaurant in Mojacar...
