Restaurante Lua ~ Beach Club — Restaurant in Mojácar

Wonderfully designed for out side and inside dining, Alex and Carlos were very attentive.

FOOD was served promptly, well presented and very tasty. Drinks were checked on regularly throughout our time dining. I was also served a very generous Copa at the end of the meal too.

Atmosphere was fab although...

we were situated by the beach door that had wonderful views of the sea.

The down side, as it was a windy day when other customers entered via the Beach side door... We had to ask on several occasions for waiters or the customers entering the restaurant to shut the door.

Perhaps a little suggestion... To install a self closing door mechanism😉

A wonderful venue in a beautiful location, a group of 7 of us had a great relaxing time here, then 3 split off to have a meal. The meal was very tasty, fresh and well cooked.

On a different occasion we also came to listen to live music having only drinks then.

The same issues arose both times which caused me to drop one star from an otherwise perfect rating and that is of chaotic sometimes impersonal & sloppy service; being ignored when trying to place several drinks orders by staff seeing us and turning away to walk in a different direction, food served without cutlery and bottled water without glasses. I had a disappointing experience at LUA restaurant in Mojacar today. Despite the beautiful premises and setting, the food and service was sadly lacking. The free-range chicken burger I ordered was not made with free-range chicken fillet as advertised. Additionally, the service was slow, with a glass of rose, which l ordered twice, never arriving. There was no follow-up for coffee, dessert, or even the bill. When I attempted to politely share my experience with the manager, it wasn't of interest. I was charged for the wine I never received. Overall, my lunch experience fell far short of the positive reviews here. Real shame as setting and sunbeds...
