I had the pleasure of dining at Pitapes Mollet in August with my wife and another couple, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional, and we even had the chance to chat with the owner/manager, who made us feel incredibly welcome.

The restaurant's interior was charming and well-decorated, adding to the overall cozy and inviting atmosphere. But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish we ordered was absolutely superb, from the appetizers to the main courses. The flavors were rich, and the presentation was impeccable.

Now, let's talk about the sangria. I couldn't agree more; it was hands down the best sangria I've ever had. It perfectly complemented our meal and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.

Visité ayer este precioso rincón. No lo conocía. Cena para dos. La decoración auna diferentes estilos que se coordinan a la perfección: desde elementos vintage como un antiguo teléfono a un gran mortero o latas de conservas que nos transportan a momentos vividos que conviven con una bodega abierta o plantas colgantes que dan una luz especial. Todo y que mi acompañante ya había estado, optamos por dejarnos aconsejar tanto en lo que se refiere al vino: un Montsant que no decepciono, tal vez porque su nombre ya lo decía todo “Estones”, cómo en lo referido a la comida: dos baos de secreto que eran un derroche de sabor; un carpacció acompañado de un delicado pan y unas salsas que lo convertían en una delicia y una tortilla abierta que no os podéis perder: original, juego de sabores, en su punto… y mención especial a ese pan que la acompañaba: pan, pan, artesano, crujiente y tierno, un viaje a aquellos panes de pueblo que saboreábamos en nuestra niñez. El postre fue otra sorpresa que redondeó la cena: buñuelos de chocolate con crema de avellana que además de ser una explosión de sabor, llevaban un guiño de nuevo a la niñez: petazetas de avellana, no puedo con palabras transmitir su calidad! Todo esto ya dice mucho del Pitapes, pero, cómo siempre digo… sin un buen servicio, sin personal que ama su trabajo, entregado, eficiente, empático y con una sonrisa permanente… no hubiera tenido esa experiencia WoW y, tal vez, ni hubiera escrito la reseña… Gracias por hacer de una cena una velada espectacular! No lo dudéis: visitadlo! Yo prometo volver más antes...

Very nice, original tapas. Everything was very good and the place has a nice atmosphere. The only downside was that we ordered several dishes, amongst which the octopus tartar, and were brought all the others and last of all a coated octopus leg. When we told the waiter we hadn’t ordered that dish, he said they we out of octopus tartar and thus brought the other octopus dish instead. Lack of professionalism or...
