Restaurant Las Delicias — Restaurant in Muro

Had a wonderful experience here today I would highly recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists visiting Alcudia. I was greeted by the waiter when looking at their menu outside. He was very friendly and not pushy to get you into the restaurant which i find many places can be in tourist areas. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice mediterranean feel. Their menu serves a great variety of dishes including fish and seafood dishes, a variety of meat dishes including angus steaks and pork. I and my partner both had the sirloin, you can watch the chef cook your food which is a huge plus. The steaks are not pre cut either, the chef cuts your steak of the larger cut.

I was expecting the cut to be small for €25 but it was huge and cooked to perfection i was stunned by how well it was presented. I was exceptionally pleased with the chefs skill it was by far the best steak I have had by far! All the staff were brilliant, very friendly and attentitive. The service was at the lowest level! It felt like we weren’t welcome. Other restaurants were closed, so we had no choice but to visit Restaurant Las Delicias. We ordered two pizzas — they were dry, but since we were hungry, we managed to eat them. Still, we wouldn’t want to repeat the experience. The pizzas were served uncut, which is fine — what’s not fine is that we had to cut them with dull knives on a completely wobbly table! The waiters behaved as if we were bothering them and distracting them from more important guests. Larger groups and Spanish-speaking customers were clearly given priority. VERY unpleasant! Also, it was extremely noisy — partly because of the other guests, and partly because of the road nearby.

The service is this place is horrendous. The guy who appears to be the manager is extremely arrogant, rude, patronising, aggressive and a bully. He targets lone women and pushes to make customers feel awkward. He has a HUGE chip on his shoulder and is far too comfortable being aggressive to women. Major red flags all round. I brushed it off and thought to give the place a try but every time I walk past he gives bad looks and worse vibes. The only reason people go there is the location, not worth spending your hard earned money to be mistreated by an angry sad man.
