We booked a table for three the day before and when we arrived they wanted us to share a small two persons table. We are three grown up persons. We do not fit on this small table with food and drinks. There were a lot of empty tables, but they were also booked but not for us. The waiter said he was sorry that he could not do better that that a two persons table against a wall or that table half way to the street.

Last year the food was not that good to take a small table and this year they did it worse.

In every touristy place one finds bars and restaurants which first objective is to rip off their customers. El Cinto could be one of them. Regarding food service, they have no idea. They just opened a terrace on the main road thinking that it would be enough to make money in Sumner. The place is dirty, (just for fun, go to the loo), the food is expensive and badly cooked. Visitar El Cinto es una experiencia que va más allá de la comida: es dejarse llevar por los sabores auténticos de Almería en un entorno cálido, acogedor y lleno de encanto. La taberna, situada en un rincón pintoresco del Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, combina lo mejor de la tradición con un toque moderno que sorprende.

Los platos están elaborados con mimo, usando productos frescos y locales. Las tapas son generosas y con una presentación impecable. Destacan especialmente el pulpo a la brasa, el atún rojo en su punto perfecto y las croquetas caseras, que son una delicia. La carta de vinos es breve pero acertada, con opciones que maridan perfectamente con los platos.

El trato del personal es otro punto fuerte: atentos, amables y con un conocimiento claro de lo que ofrecen. Te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento.

Ideal para una comida relajada después de un día de playa o senderismo por la zona. Reservar con antelación es recomendable, ya que no es un secreto lo bien que se come aquí.
