Lebeche Rodalquilar — Restaurant in Níjar

Arrived to this restaurant unexpectedly as I was looking for a supermarket to buy some food in the area. The supermarket of Rodalquilar was closed so decided to take a look at the place, thought it was a bar from the road, but when I entered...my oh my, was I in for a surprise!!!

Super quaint, cozy with nice deco, the waiters were fantastic (Javier was serving our table and he was more than happy to give is suggestions and also spoke good english) that also helped a lot. Good wine list with some interesting local wines and short but intense menu. We ordered mango ceviche, tajine, rocket salad and croquetas. All were super super good.

Was quite surprised with the ceviche to be honest, the spiciness and sweetness was really balanced, didnt expect such a great dish in the middle of Almeria (I have been to Lima before and have had my fair share of ceviches :o) )

Last but not least, dessert. I know Carrot Cake can be heavy to eat dinner with, but this ONE IS A MUST!!! Crazy good. The chocolate cake was quite nice too!!!

Will go again for sure, this is a hidden gem... dont tell anybody...

This is honestly my favourite restaurant in the world. the food is HEAVENLY i genuinely swear. I was visiting my friends who live in rodalquilar and they took me to this GEM of a restaurant. the people who worked at this restaurant were so nice, the decoration was IMPECCABLE, and the food...... it was... so yummy yummyyy....... if you ever even visit españa please go to rodalquilar and this restaurant and get the jamón croquetas, the curry/like cauliflower croquetas (im fuzzy on what they were actually made of but they were absolutely WONDEROUS), the huevos rotos with truffle and the huevos rotos with gambas gambas al ajillos. those are all a NEED from this restaurant and everything else is just as good its just PERFECT i cant even contain about my excitement about this place just please eat there its impossible to be dissapointed with...

A classic restaurant with attentive service very good menu and wines. A must visit place. No wonder it rates so well on Google. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared, the lightest croquettes four different flavours and falafels. All the dishes could be and were shared and we went two nights in a row. Beef cheek and the smoothest of potatoes, so rich on flavour melted in the mouth. Monk fish and rice delicious. A cinnamon french toast served with a coconut custard, topped with home made ice cream was a new one for us. Excellent starters too. Sensibly priced wines as well. What's...
