First hesitated to come here, because of the low review score, but the other restaurant wasn’t open for lunch, and a local gentleman was so kind that he not only pointed us to this place, but also drove here to make sure we get someone who can speak English, in return for his kindness we bought him a beer. The vegetable stew and fish soup, served in very country style tin plates, go really well with bread for a hungry bunch like us. Farm chicken and beef filet are cooked simple, without strong flavor, allowing the taste of the original protein, and chicken texture is tender, unlike mass produced chicken in US. We stayed here in the accommodation for 1 night. We were not too hungry and shared a dinner menu between 2 adults. We had: 1 Russian salad: okay, nothing special. 1 lubina (seabass): bit oily, decent for the price. 1 flan and helado: okay, nothing special. 1 glass of red wine.

Buena experiencia a pesar de algunas malas críticas. Fuimos a pasar un rato a Arantzazu y decidimos comer algo por allí. Como en la Hospedería del Santuario no nos atendían fuimos al Restaurante Sindika, a pesar de algunas de las malas críticas. Debemos decir que fue muy bien la experiencia. El camarero amable nos respondió de buena manera sobre la petición de comer algún plato combinado. La atención fue muy rápida y el plato estaba muy bueno, y a un precio muy ajustado: dos platos de escalope con patatas, huevo y croquetas, con pan, 3 copas de vino Verdejo y Rioja y un café por 30€.
