Foster's Hollywood — Restaurant in Ondara

Fosters Hollywood is not what it used to be. I particularly the fosters in Ondara. I ordered the chicken along with my partner and mother in law who had the ceser salad.

The food came COLD. It’s that simple. The food came in a skillet like dish which I expect to be reasonably hot as it’s made of iron. It was cold, not quite out of the fridge cold but touchable. I’m of the opinion that, the food was cooked the day before and then reheated in a microwave and left on the side under a hot lamp which was switched off.

The food was cooked, but clearly not upon ordering. This is now the 3rd time we have had this in fosters Hollywood in Ondara. Needles to say we will not be returning and would defiantly not recommend this place if you like good food.

To top off the poor food, the table manners of the waitress wasn’t exactly screaming professional either. Not very chatty no smiles and a face like a bull dog chewing a wasp. Clearly having a bad day, however polite but short she was. When we complained about the cold food her response was to literally say sorry whilst charging us full price, with no effort to try to figure out some kind professional solution.

I get it, in summer it’s hot and can be hard to work in busy environments but fosters seem to love employing young people who just don’t care or able to have a professional response when challenged about poor food and table service… which is slow, messy and above all unwelcoming.

Poor...

This is literally the worst food I have ever been served and that is not an exaggeration. We will start with our entrance where we were ignored by the server completely as he clearly didn’t seat people, but he could have said hello and wait a moment. We both ordered carbonara pasta with pulled pork(mistake), it came out with parts luke warm and parts actually cold - like pasta salad cold and completely flavourless as if it had no sauce at all. Minimal tiny bacon pieces, one had a ball of pulled pork that looked like it had been chewed up and spat out and one had no pulled pork. We sent them back and said we wanted to leave it was that bad. Then the utter indignation at being charged €3.90 for two sodas that we had to wait around for to pay for. No apology, no nothing. An experience we are sure not to repeat. For a similar price go to the Italian close by for far superior food, service, and atmosphere, or honestly - go to McDonald’s. It’s over priced and the quality abysmal. The burgers looked ok, but I won’t return...

We like it! It was good. We loved the amazing milkshake. Friendly staff and well served. Thank you for this meal! If we are in the neighbourhood, we will surely visit again. Also a compliment for the toilets for they were clean.

261122 So..... We went back. But this time it was verry disappointing. The chips and the burgers were to cold. And the milkshakes were bad. We made a complaint and they served us new ones. They were only a little bit better. It was a milkshake which only tasted like milk. They let us pay for those milkshakes altough we'd let them know that they were only a littlebit better than the first served. This "experience" was nothing like our first visit. If it had been like this, then we would not have come back again. So..... This was the last visit. Sorry.... Verry...
