Kliv Inn — Restaurant in Orihuela

I previously gave this restaurant a five star review when it was The Orange Tree - that sign is still outside but obviously is under new management or new owners. Arrived at 9:00pm. There ware 5 people in our group and we could pick our table. So it wasn't at capacity. One person ordered a starter of wings that came out over cooked at about 9:20pm At 10:15pm a staff member apologised for the delay and said we could have a free dessert to make up for the delay and the food was on the way. It was 10:25pm before the food arrived. The first meal that did arrive was wrong and was sent back to be sorted, The fish on another meal was that over cooked that parts were black and hard. At that point only 4 people received their meals it was another 10 minutes later when we still hadn't received the last meal that I had to ask where was, the the last meal arrived a few minutes later. When it did arrive the chicken wings were pink. They gave us a free round of drinks as an apology which was 3 coke zeros and a water. We didn't stay for the free dessert. Well, I love Sweden, I have lived there for 14 years in Kungshamn/Smögen on the west coast and was happy to find a Swedish west coast dish; “Skagenröra” on the menu. But it was a disappointment; pale as a cartoon ghost and far from home. But the thin toast was as it should be. My wife who is in love with the Louisiana kitchen ordered Cajun chicken and was ok with it even if the meat was a little dry and the sauces, (a sweet chili and a barbeque) from some bottles with the right labels. Very poor experience this time around. Had Sunday lunch last weekend which was barely edible. Had to wait an hour from ordering to be served with overcooked roast potatoes dried out mash. Little and luke warm gravy. We had pre booked a table and restaurant was half full on arrival so wouldn't say too busy for such along wait. Others were also complaining and threatening to leave. I wouldn't normally complain but after having the chicken pie my father has fallen ill with diarrhoea and a fever which appears to be food poisoning.
