JUMBON A SCOOTER AND GO ELSEWHERE
I’m now raging my little girl (2 years old) is projectile vomiting this morning the vegetables from the spring roll.
This place is that bad I’m lost for word sauces all watered down, curry sauce had the same chilli flakes in as the chilli dip and they looked very similar and both disgusting. Chicken and mushroom soup was like dish water that’s the only way I could describe it.
Partner had spring roll that was cooked in old oil was only cooked on the outside dark brown and raw pastry on the inside and people wonder why they are on the loo in hell the next day.
Stale prawn cracker that cost €3.25 a large bottle of plastic water yes that’s €3.25 it was a biggest to order we only had the starter and paid for what we had and left.
If you decide to ignore this review i can honestly say you’re wasting your time and money.
And to top it off we were chased out by some English local rat toothed Karen that said she’s ate there 30 years (it ain’t been open 5 lol).
Well lady I got news for ya the reason you like the rest of the food is because anything tastes better than the bacteria and amount of kaka already in your cake hole.
Thanks for a special evening I look forward to trying somewhere else as NOWHERE can be as bad as your food.
You should be ashamed to server that slop.
You get 1 Star for the bottle of over priced water being cold so congrats on that atleast wish I had some good to say I’m now...
Read moreIt's always a pleasure to visit Jumbon. It's the only place for me if I want to eat Chinese. They do a buffet menu, which you order as normal, not laid out like some to get cold, and a normal menu. The food is always good, fresh and hot, the staff friendly and efficient. It's a family run restaurant, so you should expect nothing less. It gets incredibly busy during July and August, and this brings the only problem I have when visiting......parking!!!! There is only on Street parking, so in the summer this can be a problem, but it's worth the effort. Easy access for disabled customers. This restaurant represents really good value for money and I recommend...
Read moreBeen going here for a number of years and has certainly gone downhill. Some dishes are of very poor quality and the waitress could not explain what was in some dishes on the menu. Came over with the dessert menu before we had finished our dinner and then walked off after we had only ordered vegetables without the main dish! Just wanted us to buy a desert. Kept asking if we wanted more drinks. The menu says all you can eat but they constantly try to take the menus away. Appeared to be very quiet for a Saturday night! It’s a shame as the restaurant was always good but won’t be going...
