The Celtic Isle — Restaurant in Orihuela

A really nice place for a swim, but be very careful with the slippery tiles around the pool—especially those leading into the kids’ area. That’s honestly the main reason for the lower rating. They’ve clearly tried to create a great space for children but seem to have forgotten that kids tend to move fast. All of my children ended up getting hurt, so it’s definitely not well thought-out in that regard.

That said, we had a fantastic day overall. We grabbed some snacks and drinks from the little kiosk. It wasn’t too crowded, and the water was refreshingly cool.

Everything felt a bit “rough around the edges,” but still very enjoyable.

We did notice that the cutlery we received was dirty. A quick wipe with a wet finger was enough to clean it, but that really shouldn’t be necessary.

Luckily, I’m not the squeamish type. It’s a cozy, budget-friendly place. But if you’re a bit more sensitive to hygiene or safety, you might want to try somewhere else—especially if your kids tend to run near the pool, as those tiles are...

Today a new light was shined and we won’t be returning due to the treatment and attitude from the staff of this establishment, one member of staff in particular was a British woman with brown hair tied up behind the bar.This woman, has been unnecessarily rude and downright disrespectful towards my grandfather.

He had bought some drinks and paid, the woman handed him back the wrong change which he noticed straight away and said to her that he had been given the wrong change. The woman immediately got defensive and downright rude and said no she had not done that. To which we asked could she please watch the cameras that are clearly visible behind the bar and would’ve seen the entire encounter. She point blank refused and said no that it was too busy. It was not.

Please all be so careful with your money in this place and if you can AVOID AVOID AVOID As it seems that they only want to take advantage of their elderly customers who make up there vast majority of clientele.

Nice pool, but expensive if your eating and drinking there, food not the best, very poor service of the rude staff, one in particular, the old guy with the mustache, extremely rude, if the guy that does the entertainment was on Britain's got talent he would get XXXX IN 10 seconds, it's that bad worth a watch. Toilets are minging and dodgy electrics are exposed with children around, makes me wounder cleanliness of the kitchens, kids was complaining that lots of chemicals in the pool eyes was sore, and at around 6pm they seem to want you out by putting a radio station on an start stacking chairs up around you, seems like we have had you're money now so go home, so...
