Probably the worst mousaka I have ever seen the commy waiter stavros started off by telling us the service would be poor as he was tired from last night (he wasnt joking) after ordering our drinks we waited a full 15 minutes until he brought them only two tables in the restaurant one of which he was spending a lot of time at eventually he came to take our order one of our party ordered a meal that came with tzatziki and she told him that she didn't like tzatziki he was very rude to her and said I would not come into your family home and say I did not like it we are talking about tzatziki here another member of our party ordered 2 starters as her main course he didn't get it and stormed of saying I will be back in a minute the starters were ok again another 30 min for our main course one person ordered lamb chops very nice and 2 ordered chicken kebabs again nice my friend ordered gyros with metaxa sauce and vegetables no veg in it at all and very dry I ordered moussaka as last time we came it was not ready it was as I said the worst one I had ever seen I scraped the betchamel off the top as it was cold and congealed it was inedible only to find what looked like pork mince and overcooked aubergine underneath I could not eat it the waiter came over and said that doesn't look very good I offered to cook him one on monday but he declined we have been here before and it was ok but our friends said they would never come back no discount for the moussaka and no apology at all was surprised that the other two tables got a shot with their bill and we never in fact he seemed to hide behind the bar dont...
Read moreMy recent visit to The Greeks was an exceptional culinary experience. To start, I enjoyed a delicious warm Greek bread accompanied by grilled feta cheese. Both appetizers were perfectly prepared. The grilled meat platter with Greek salad that I had next was equally impressive. The meat was tender and juicy, perfectly cooked, and the salad provided a refreshing balance with its fresh and vibrant ingredients. To finish the meal, I opted for a baklava with ice cream, a typical Greek dessert that proved to be the perfect ending to this culinary experience. The baklava was crispy and sweet, while the ice cream complemented the flavors sublimely. The atmosphere at The Greeks is truly charming. Live music and people dancing with the staff created a joyful and festive atmosphere that made the evening unforgettable. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring that all my needs were met. I was so impressed with my experience that I am looking forward to returning, this time with my family, to share the wonderful food and festive atmosphere that The Greeks offers. I highly recommend The Greeks to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience. I can't...
Read moreGenuinely the best restaurant experience I’ve had in quite some time 👌 We booked for 5 of us(2 adults, 2 teens and a child) on Sunday and got lucky that there was live music and even traditional plate smashing at the end of the night.
Food: Everything we ordered was excellent and we ate every bit of every dish and given the relatively large portions this was not the easiest. Relatively simple food leaves nowhere to hide and testament to the restaurant for getting everything spot on. Distinct flavours, crispy breads, crunchy salad, sumptuous tzatziki, moist chicken, even the chips were good. I wouldn’t change a single thing and that seldom if ever happens when we eat out. I
Service: This was by some margin the best service we have had since arriving here. Staff were attentive, professional and checked in with us at appropriate times throughout. Best bit was that it felt genuine and relaxed, not rushed and not slow…perfect.
Prices were very reasonable and we will def return.
If you are in the area you should absolutely give this...
