Restaurante Arena — Restaurant in Pájara

We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant.

Service: We waited 28 min until we were served. Just to get the menu, we waited 10 minutes. Then 20 min for getting our drinks. There was only one waiter for a full restaurant, and he was totally overwhelmed and unfriendly. We asked him several times to order and each time he told us he will be with us soon, only to disappear again.

Food: We ordered a seafood paella, and received a mixed one with meat instead. There was almost no seafood and the rice was tasteless. The vegetarian lasagna was alright though.

Overall, we cannot recommend this place when there is a much better restaurant right across from it...

First time to Costa Calma and to this amazing restaurant. Welcomed with a smile and a hello. Greeted by a lovely gentleman and lady. Being English we have struggled in restaurants but not here, and we’re sick of All Inclusive food . 🙈First visit - we ordered garlic bread, pizza and fries, 3 pints of lager and 2 of Long Island cocktails - food and drinks were amazing 45 euro. Food was so nice we went back 2 days later I had sirloin steak and my husband had fillet steak, garlic bread 3 pints and a lemon tea and a Sex in the beach 65 euro. We are here on holiday and thought this place looked good. Myself and my wife came here I had a small selection of tapas, The food looked great and smelled good. After eating the pork cheeks and baby fried squid I was violently ill all night, literally never been so sick puking up everywhere till 4am and sitting on the toilet till then, I had to cancel the fishing trip I had the next day and just spent the day sweating in bed and still being sick.
