They’ve contradicted themselves with so many lies they must be confused trying to keep a straight story at this point haha. They don’t care about my endless verbiage, but they exhaust themselves by going after me and every other customer that reports a less than satisfactory experience at their establishment. What a miserable existence it must be for the woman who spends almost all her free time having to lie so much but knowing deep down all the criticism on here from me and others are all completely valid. (See thread of my previous responses to them - as they keep deleting and changing their responses, one of which they admitted to messing up my order but then changed their story next time they responded lol and another one of which included the xenophobic comment they previously made about my Muslim friend). You probably shouldn’t make xenophobic comments on public forums like this if some of your employees are Muslim too. Very simple, instead of responding of every bad review you could simply educate yourself instead (as well as having someone who can actually hear take your phone orders for the restaurant) lol. This would be a much better and more productive use of your time. Glad I could help. Besos xx!
If “success” to you is blatantly lying, not taking any responsibility for YOUR mistake AND making xenophobic comments then you guys are the best pizzeria in the costa brava!! I’m sure Vox is proud of your original response when you told me to “order pizza from Qatar next time instead.” Do better. If not for the influx of tourists who don’t know any better then you’d be out of business. Also, nice try having Google take my review down, that was an easy appeal to win haha.
Updated to add: Due to their poor response to my original review I’ve since changed it to 1 star. I could hear the same man I placed the order to complain that we didnt order correctly, and the woman who brought us our new pizza also claimed the man said it was our mistake (this entire interaction was in Spanish so that’s another contradiction to their response, such bizzare miserable people running that place). They also lied in their response in claiming that I didn’t make my initial order over the phone in Spanish or Catalan, which is false. Why lie so blatantly? So not only do you guys lack any basic accountability nor professionalism but y’all also lack integrity too? I’ve lived here going on 5 years and speak Spanish fluently and made my order in Spanish just as I do in every other restaurant I go to. Again, extremely poor accountability and the complete absence of any professionalism. If you read their other responses to people who’ve left reviews it’s obvious that this establishment is run by vile people. Much better off supporting other restaurants in town.
Gave me what I wanted free of charge? That’s a weird way of writing that you guys eventually did the right thing (after initially denying responsibility) by not scamming us and trying to serve pork to people who can’t eat it?????? I really don’t think that is something to brag about but ok, keep digging yourselfs a deeper hole haha. Why would I have to pay for yalls mistake? Do you guys live on planet earth lol???
Original review: They gave my friend (who is Muslim) a pizza with pork on it and when we went to replace it with the pizza we actually ordered (truffle), one of the employees (a man) refused any responsibility for his mistake and insisted that my friend intentionally ordered a pizza with pork on it (even though she can’t eat pork). They eventually did replace the pizza, so for this they get 2 stars, but the lack of accountability was extremely unprofessional. Goat cheese salad was pretty good tho. Pizza...
Read moreNot disabled or children friendly. Very rude owners, non pleasant, always in a hurry to make you leave removing the plates without asking. Everything you ask from them to bring you, that supposed to be obvious (parmesan in pasta and they charged 2 € !?!?!) their reaction makes you feel guilty. They want to make money from everything...selling "ice" or a bottle of mineral water when I asked for a glass with water to have my medicine, the excuse was that "drinking tap water is forbidden?!?!" We usually drink beer with lemon and salt, for 2 small pieces of lemon we got charched 0.20 €... UNBELIEVABLE ! . The food needs improvement on taste - far from being italian food ! Reasonable prices for tourists but just to hit the hunger. BE AWARE THAT THEY CHARGE FOR ANY EXTRAS THAT NO OTHER PLACE WOULD and they will charge more than you ordered (in our xase 1 beer more). We complain about those charges and he said that is written in the menu-charge for any extras. We told the owner that even if it's written he could remind it when we ordered. His answer was very disrespectful. It's not the money but the way it's done and all the attitude around. If you want to continue enjoying, look for a better and more servicial place. Certainly wont...
Read moreExquisite italian cuisine! Unbeatable value for the money! The food: Pizzas and pastas are just right and balanced: enough flavour, freshness and consistency to enjoy every single trajectory between bite to bite. The cherry tomatoes used in both, the pizzas and the pastas, as well as the basil, onions and other veggies are grown in the owner's back yard and picked daily for daily use as we are told. The pizza dough is firm at the bite and soft in the mouth and the crust is crunchy in the perfect way: you really don't want to leave it to waste; instead, you want to sprinkle it with the chili pepper olive oil they pass from table to table and wash it down with an "anima de raimat" tinto -as local as it gets. Kudos to the pizzaiolo. Salads are beautifully crafted garden salads. Highly recommend the Burrata, followed by the Trottole all'arrabiatta. The place: The opposite of Urban, or classy, industrial or even casual; it has its own salt and pepper: Fast-paced multicultural servers turn around "commands" fairly quickly with "the drink and the joke". Newcomers and "the usual suspects" from every summer boil in this mediterranean gem to the sound of the cuban classics that play througout the early...
