My wife and I had a terrible experience at the place. Never in Spain had I had worse and more incompetent waiters an staff. No one spoke basic english, they even asked my wife with hope if she spoke spanish, after they stopped trying to communicate with me. We went there on 14:30 lunch reservation on the 13th if August. First the waiter brought me a beer that had no gas anymore in it. I returned it and ask for a proper beer after which they brought me one with was abit better.. still little gas. My wifes wine was okeyish at best. Then the real trouble started one after the other. Our table was shaking in each direction and when i asked the guy to fix it, we couldn’t after 5mins of trying. We were still keeping our cool and enjoying. Then after 40mins still no food showed which made me a bit skeptic, I asked the guy and he told me 5more mins. The food came, it was average at most. The sea bream had a weird smell to it, the pork ribs were fineish. The patatos were old. Now the real fun starts, the guys brings me the bill and the POS and I paid it. Then I noticed smth strange. They charged me with two beers as well as 4 time bread(pan). The total incorrect sum was 15euros at wich I was now pissed. I asked for them back at which the guy came back with the POS again and wanted my card to cancel the prev payment. I wasnt aware how this exactly works, the POS was solely in Spanish which I dont speak and they kept demanding for my card at whch I responded that I dont understand was it says on the POS and I demanded my money back in cash. After 10mins the other guy came with a bag of change in 20cents.. for my 15euros. At no point in time any of the guys said sorry or tried to make up for my terrible experience… horrible horrible experience, incompetent staff, avg food. Wouldn’t recommend. Was expecting much more. Read moreIt’s hard to write this review as our experience was both good and bad. Lovely, attentive service upon arrival, and we had a nice, spacious table in a pleasant, sunny room. The menu was missing some items, but what we had was, broadly, very good. Our first courses were delicious, fresh and full of exciting flavours. The steak tartare was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. However, the ‘creamy rice with fish and red prawns’ was a stodgy risotto made with a shellfish stock so strong it was practically inedible. Way too intense and overpowering, sadly. Then two large coaches pull up outside, disgorging well over 70 guests - a party organised by a famous sports car company - and sadly service went instantly downhill. We were pretty much forgotten about - certainly no-one in charge came to ask about the rice dish (but our pleasant waitress who’d only been at the restaurant a month did take our complaint on-board) - and we became swiftly disenchanted. We didn’t bother with dessert or coffee, despite a tempting menu. We just gave up. I’m not saying I wouldn’t try it again on another occasion, but that’s unlikely, given the wealth of choice on the island. A shame. It’s a lovely place, but clearly quite new and inexperienced. Read moreToday I went for lunch in this restaurant in an area called Genova in Palma and I was having a meeting with an old friend so I didn't.know what to expect. I entered a very well presented restaurant that has maintained the classicism of the interior of an old Mallorcean in some of the interior but at the same time it has been decorated with a very modern and welcoming interior with a very well chosen furniture. The restaurant has different areas and each one seems to have a different personality in the choice of the interior design with different feels and touches. The service is very welcoming and professional. The person who welcomed us at the door and looked after us through the entire lunch is a very nice lady ( her name is Andrea ). She gives a very personal and friendly but not intrusive very professional service. I had as starter a white fish ceviche and a steak tartare to follow.
