This place is truly a gem. The food is delicious, the owners are delightful and funny, the cocktails are superb.. the atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and beachfront. We enjoyed this place and ate here 3 times in one week! (That’s hard to do when you have 6 people with different tastes) They have delicious rotisserie chicken that you can reserve ahead of time to ensure availability, or you can get lucky like us and get it without reserving it. The owner even made an effort on her off day to try and find dairy free cheese for my child who is allergic to milk so she could have a cheese pizza. She also made us a delicious mushroom sauce for our schnitzel that wasn’t even on the menu, because we said we like mushrooms. We were staying at Peñiscola Plaza Suites, and decided to come check out this spot for dinner. The restaurant owner served us personally, and we had a wonderful time laughing and talking with her- we were all friends by the end of the evening! The food was great (we had pizza, chili, burgers, salad- all delicious) and the owner’s homemade sangria, which I highly recommend, as someone who drinks a lot of sangria it is some of the best I’ve had in Spain. 🍷 you won’t be disappointed! An excellent restaurant, very accommodating. The couple that run it couldn't be nicer. It was here I learned dad jokes transcend language and culture. They even looked for a dessert for my son who is allergic to everything. Between the five of us we had combo plates, burgers and pizza, plus dessert: flan, and ice cream. We were all pleased with our food choices, and then had a wonderful stroll along the beach after the meal. My only regret is that we waited until our last day to visit...
