We've been to Namaste several times over the last 2 or 3 years, always in the evenings, and it's always been superb. It's by far the best Indian restaurant we know of in Spain. Stuck in Peniscola for a day this week, I thought I'd try their midday Menu of the Day. The choice is limited, but for starters they offer vegetable pakora, (which I always eat in Namaste), and it was as top quality as always. For main course, it's chicken curry, chicken korma or vegetable curry on offer. So for the first time in many decades of eating curries, I ordered plain old chicken curry with boiled rice, but I asked for it super-spicy. It was wonderful, and as good as any "special" curry I've ever eaten. Totally excellent. Deserts I think were a choice of ice-creams only, but I'm fine with that after a great curry. All in all, everything was extremely good once again. I have to say that before I went for the meal, I really expected to be given smaller portions than from the evening menu - the board outside advertised 12.95 euros for the 3 courses. Well I was very happily proved wrong there, because the portions are exactly the same as from the "Carta", which I think makes this Menu of the Day incredible value. If I was to suggest anything, it would be that rather than offering only rice or naan bread, how about offering half rice and half naan bread? It's not a problem if there's more than 1 of you, but alone you have to decide between one or the other - rice or bread, when the best option is a bit of both. If that could be an option, it would make an already great meal even better!! ;) Thankyou Namaste, and see you...

The waiter was also rude, rolling his eyes gesturing a lot with his arms and seemed extra rude after he asked us where we were from and we told him England. I feel that this place used to be good and vegan friendly but went under new management? If you have allergies or other dietary requirements for any reason, I would not risk eating here, and if you like a nice environment to dine out at then again I wouldn't eat here.
A final point, we said about the cheese in the biryani and they took it away and brought it back with some removed and the rest just pushed around or mixed in. This is extremely dangerous for people wish allergies and I can't help but feel this place should be closed down to prevent harm or even death to people...
