La Terrazita de Cristóbal — Restaurant in Pilar de la Horadada

Wow, what a gem! We dined here last night and have just found our new favourite restaurant. A really simple menu with just the best ingredients. There were 3 dining areas, the front terrace, the inner restaurant and the outer courtyard. There was a great atmosphere and real theatre with the presentation of the steaks. The only slight negative was the giant TV screen in the main restaurant showing news & weather. We felt this was unnecessary and slightly detracted from the otherwise very nice ambience. To start we had Croqueta of the Month and Aged Croqueta. We also shared a brioche with pulled pork. All were absolutely delicious. For mains we had an LT burger and an Abuela burger. OMG ... Best burgers we have had in our lives ❤️. Served rare with delicious cheese on a buttery brioche bun. For dessert we both chose the legendary baked cheesecake, one with pistachio sauce and one with Biscoff. Again, undoubtedly the best we"ve ever eaten. Absolute heaven 😍. We chose to drink beer/zero beer but there was lots of other choices. Our first visit but definitely not our last. 3 courses for 2 people and drinks for 60€. Fantastic quality and great value for money. Next time we are going to try the T-bone steak as looked & smelt wonderful. Can completely understand why they were so full on a Wednesday night & had to turn people away ... don't forget to pre-book. Thank you La Terrazita...

Amazing very Spanish clientele,we never heard of this place and we lived here for five years. They arent on Facebook and don't need to be, they were rammed full at 11 in the evening when we arrived, and now we know why. Amazing food, top class, flavourful and perfectly cooked starters, we shared a tomohawk steak afterwards which was amazing delicious and tender. Sliced in front of us and finished by ourselves on a hot plate. The bill came to 86 euros, well worth every cent, we will be back very soon. A true hdden gem!!!! Highly recommend.

Our second visit and we weren't disappointed at all, what a wonderful lunch. So full now, food crash incoming, both need a nanna nap 🤩🤩🤩🍷

I don’t do reviews normally, however the service and food we had this afternoon at La Terrazita de Cristobal Pilar de la Horadada was amazing. I had the Plan B burger and my with has the unfortunately named F**g croissant 🥐 both were fantastic and I’d even go as far to say the best burger I’ve ever had. We shared a homemade cheesecake, which can have any topping you like. We chose the Kinder topping and it was quite simply delicious, although very filling. Jorge the waiter was attentive without being in your face, Cristobal the owner and chef came out to meet us and both were fantastic, taking time to tell us about the restaurant and the steaks they specialise in. We have been in Pilar for 6 years and often walked pass the restaurant thinking it was just a local coffee bar, I’m kicking myself for not trying this gem of a place before now and will certainly make it a regular place to visit...
