Four stars in my rating system means good food, good service and good environment. It is a place I would recommend to others and a place I would return to.

We arrived just before lunch. We had reservations but I think it would be possible to just arrive and be seated.

The meal tasted great and our servers were very attentive.

What was unexpected and “súper chulo” or very cool were the caves below the restaurant. We came to the plaza where the restaurant is located to see the museum and caves beneath the plaza. However they were closed. Fortunately this restaurant had its own cellars complete with clay “tinajas” where wine was served and aged.

Each of the caves was transformed into intimate nooks to share drinks with friends and there was a larger cave that was the bar. I am not sure if food was served down there. If you visit here, don’t miss this. It is not marked nor promoted. I am sure if you were a local, you would know this but as a tourist, you...

We were a table of six and I think they felt we were troubling them wanting to be served, the waiter forgot most things and the waitress couldn't crack a smile if a thousand euros was in front of her. I ordered a rare steak and was cold in the middle and raw fat... apart from that it was ok. Everything we ordered we had to ask for twice and despite arriving as soon as they opened they constantly kept looking at their watch. When we asked for coffees the waitress asked the waiter if they had coffee despite him making one for someone else. The biggest problem was the bill.... just about everything was wrong adding extra bottles of wine, water, coffees and deserts and incorrect pricing by adding 10% iva on top of the bill. Disgraceful really that they think it is ok to rip customers off in that fashion. What a shame people...

Decepcionante y denunciante. Venimos a posta desde Valencia con mesa reservada 4 personas, con ilusión de comer allí y pasar un día agradable en Requena y fué un día horrible gracias a este rte. Cuando hicimos la reserva, nos dicen q hay mesa en la terraza, nos lo pensamos y le decimos q luego le confirmamos. Cuando lo decidimos le volvemos a llamar e insistimos q si es en terraza como hace frio, y nos contestan q hay estufitas y q se está bien. Llegamos a las 14h y nos recibe una chica y nos indica la mesa, nos sentamos pero observamos q solo hay una estufa encendida, se lo comentamos a un camarero jovencito y nos dice q estaban todas encendidas q igual se han apagado, pero ni se preocupa por ver si están apagadas y hacer sentir cómodo al cliente. Luego le pedimos recomendación de vino, nos dice q él no sabe, q lo mirasemos y q cuando lo tuviésemos claro le dijéramos....cuando ya tenemos claro el vino lo llamamos y le pedimos recomendación con los entrantes y comida para comer, ya que vimos que la carta había cambiado y pensábamos q era más de carne y había más marisco q carne, el camarero nos contesta q él no se conoce la carta y que viéramos lo q queríamos en el QR , luego decidimos por carne de 1kg y nos contesta q la carne igual no era un kg, q nos la enseñaba y decidiamos, para darle facilidad le dijimos que daba igual q la hicieran con lo que fuera. Una vez ya decidido, le pedimos todo esto sin traenos ni agua ni vino, ni nada..,entra el camarero y tarda 5 minutos y sale y nos dice que tienen dentro una mesa grande y q la comida va a tardar mucho, y preguntamos, pero la carne o todo? Y nos dice, todo...En pocas palabras nos estaba invitando a que nos fuéramos. Así que después de todas las circunstancias y ya lo último, decidimos levantarnos e irnos. Esto es denunciable o no es denunciable?????? Primero, cuando llamas, tendríais que habernos puesto al corriente de la situación, y cuando llegamos igual, no esperaros a que ya tuviesemos todo decidido y cuando esta pedido decirnos que va a tardar mucho...esto no me ha ocurrido en la vida!.Falta de dignidad y profesionalidad en todos los sentidos y mala educación. Es para reclamaros daños y prejuicios..Pero veo que este comportamiento es muy común en este restaurante, he podido leer varias reseñas con quejas...
