The service was pretty good but food wise, it is difficult to find many positives. The food is incredibly overpriced for what it is. We originally thought we could order off the blackboard which looked quite an interesting menu but had no prices. We were then given a menu and were asked to order from there. We thought the menu was pricey compared to other restaurants in the region but took a chance. But that was a mistake - the octopus (€18.50) and the scallops (€18.00) were really over-seasoned and were actually quite unpleasant to eat as a result. We ordered the chicken dish which turned out to be dry popcorn chicken without any dip/condiment and tasted like it was cooked from frozen - ridiculous this cost 9 euros. The salad had poor ingredients and plastic pots of oil as the dressing and was 5 euros. Ultimately, the food was really disappointing and we have left feeling confused about the good reviews and wishing we had tried elsewhere for our meal. I would recommend this place for a beer and they do have some...
Read moreAfter reading many positive reviews, with an average of 4.5 stars, we were expecting much more. The food was bad: the pulpo al ajillo was excessively salty (this coming from my wife, who likes salty food), the pimientos de padrón were burnt and bitter (after eating excellent pimientos de padrón about a dozen times in Galicia, this was a disappointment), and the pastel de cabracho tasted meh. We ended up leaving half of the pastel and pimientos uneaten, and my wife had two beers to wash off the salt of...
