We happened by this little shop on accident, and were lucky enough to make it in about a half hour before they closed for siesta. Unfortunately, they would not let us sit down to enjoy our pastries because they were too close to closing. . . But they at least let us order some treats to go!
As an ADHDer, the choosing part was very difficult— there are just so many different options! And with a bit of a rushed feeling (re: we were inside too close to their afternoon break), we had to pick fast!
We ended up getting: a bag of small lemon cookies a slice of red velvet cake An Oreo flavor cookie (which looked and tasted like a chocolate chip cookie ate three regular Oreos) cinnamon roll with glaze (When rushed, we pick all the things. . . Guess it’s a good business strategy? lol)
Everything was amazing, truly. The cream cheese frosting on the red velvet cake was so light and just the right amount of sweet— I could have eaten it on everything. Didn’t have a chance to try their coffee, because I didn’t want to walk and drink, but everything we ordered was a true delight. If you’re walking the Norte, I highly recommend making the slight detour off the way to come and marvel at...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise. There are so many treats on display, it’s almost impossible to decide. After a mouth watering tour around this small shop about five times we decided on the Almendrado Ribadeo and the Catone Almendre and Cappuccinos. The cappuccinos were excellent. I think they added some spice to it which made it delicious. Both treats were good but we thought the Catone Almendre was the winner. It had a nice flaky crust and wonderful taste, not too sweet. Definately recommend you stop here and enjoy the cappuccino and try some of their treats. You won’t...
