Tu Cantina Rojales is a hidden gem, nestled at the back of the car park of the weekly Thursday market. It's a quintessential Spanish Tapas restaurant that exudes flair and intimacy.
We discovered this delightful spot through friends who introduced us to it for breakfast. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, the friendly and efficient staff, and the restaurant's charming ambience. We opted for the large breakfast, and 'large' is indeed the operative word. The meal was not only hearty but absolutely delicious. It truly earned the title of the perfect breakfast spot for us.
Our love for the place drew us back for lunch, where we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere on their terrace under a beautiful, leafy tree providing ample shade from the sun. The terrace even had a hen strolling around as if she owned the place—perhaps she does! We decided to try the Menu del Día at just €14, and our expectations were far exceeded. We started with a tuna salad included in the menu, followed by a Rusa salad and fried rice. The main course of beef stew was of excellent quality and the portion size was generous.
We now make it a point to visit Cantina Rojales regularly, ensuring we stop by for breakfast or lunch at least once a week. They truly deserve the patronage.

Read moreFabulous atmosphere with the twinkly lights at night, delicious food and really lovely owners. Working our way through the tapas menu, so can’t wait to come back. We had calamari, patas bravas, meatballs, chicken wings ( one eaten before the photo taken!) & bread & alioli - wonderful! Only been open just over two weeks & it’s amazing what they’ve achieved!
Thoroughly recommended!
