Restaurante Casa Lu — Restaurant in Rojales

Been coming to Rojales for 20years and knew this restaurant when it was la maquesa. Tried this same restaurant now named Casa lu with new owners because of the good reviews and now wish we hadn't bothered. Service was good and food came quickly and was of the good standard you expect for a Chinese restaurant. Then halfway through our meal a screaming, shouting 3year old kid came out of the restaurant. The screaming went on for about 10 minutes interrupting conversations and generally being annoying. My husband commented how appalling the noise was and the couple at the next table who live here said oh he's always screaming/shouting . We were told he is a relative of the restaurant owners. We found this very off putting, annoying and down right rude to let this child scream when there are customers trying to enjoy their evening meal when on holiday! Needless to say we will not be coming here again and would advise you the same and to the owners if you are reading this review you really ought not to let that child scream and shout when your customers are eating and trying to chat , we will never use your...

Often a Chinese meal will leave you hungry, Not Here! The portions are generous and the food is very tasty, although the servers were one down they were multitasking to try and minimise the delays for every table. The dumplings were very tasty, and veggie spring roll was huge and tasted good. The main courses were all very tasty with the highlight being the duck dishes, the Tsingtao beer is always my go-to with Chinese so I was happy they served it. Deserts were a varied selection of ice creams and ice cream based, the addition of a few for lactose intolerant people would have rounded it off perfectly. WOW!!! Nearly didn't recognise this beautifully refurbished restaurant. We haven't, for various reasons, been able to dine here for a while but hopefully will be able too much more often. The Menu is comprehensive and the food, we've been twice in the last week, was delicious. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly recommend "Casa Lu" and in our view it is the best Chinese/Thai restaurant in the area. Congratulations to all the team at Casa Lu and see...
