Amazing food and kind, funny, lovely waiters. They asked my favourite question as soon as we were seated 'Any allergies?' Because then I knew that they understood. As a gluten free (coeliac), vegetarian I was not expecting much more than another salad!! But the guys at El Resspiro made sure I had tasty, safe food for all FIVE courses, with only one course being salad. This bar is tucked out of the way in a small street in Rojales, from the outside it looks nothing special, however when you go in you are treated to a a beautifully appointed restaurant. This was are first visit and we both were blown away at the excellence of the freshly prepared, home cooked food. For me it was the best meal ive had in a spanish restaurant for some time and was very well priced. Its some distance from where I live but i will make a special journey to get there. The best paella we have ever had in the 4 years we have been here😋 The atmosphere is amazing and must be tried out. Service is outstanding too and they are so funny. Place has a special decor and very original. Paella needs to ordered way in advanced as seats seek out quickly and once you tasted it you understand why. Once diner is done you are in for another surprise that I won’t ruin here😉 The seafood paella 🥘 is loaded with so much seafood that are so fresh and delicious and only too quality. For sure this is our new go to place...
