When we looked at the menu online we had the idea that we could get real thai food, but nothing is as it seams. I’ve been a couple of times in Thailand but their food has no resemblance with Thailand. Thei thai red curry, has no taste at all like a real thai red curry. Stir fried chicken with basil and chilli, no basil in this dish. Mango salad, is really mango with store bought sweet and sour sauce, it should have lime, fish sauce, garlic, coriander, palm sugar. We have been using this restaurant for at. Least 16 years. When Sam was in charge, the food was fabulous. Recently,they got. Rid of him and Marys son took Over, a lovely man, but he had to deal with all the complaints. Well we have had more Complaints than compliments. Recently we have had to complain about our take aways.. Never good and yesterday, ever although we complained about the quality, it was still bad. So adios Maritaos we are now going elsewhere. Shame. Today's meal was a disappointment compared to other times we've been in. The baozai 3 delicious had beef that tasted off and while the bowl was sizzling the food remained cold. The Green Thai Chicken Curry came luke warm with cold rice. The curry, usually spectacular, tasted like it was made with a Knorr packet. It used to be so creamy and fragrant now salty and herby. The chicken satay was also cold, dry, and with a lumpy sauce. The chicken in all of the above was grisly. Not sure if...
