I can't get over churros being a breakfast item in Spain. Our stay in Ronda has been fascinating. The sights and sounds are second to none.
In Southern California and Northern Mexico (Tijuana) churros are dense and surrounded by cinnamon and sugar.
However in Spain they are light and fluffy and traditionally served with chocolate. This is no ordinary chocolate beverage. It is a cocoa powder with cornstarch mixed with hot milk. This produces a thick pudding like consistency that is drinkable but more importantly dunkable.
