3 Almas — Restaurant in Roquetas de Mar

I have to say, after reviews I decided with family to visit the place. When we arrived, waitress gave us a table right next to the street which did not bother me, as we had few smokers at the table. Waitress was quite quirky, but not in bad way. Too many times you get fake aproach from the staff, but she was really on the spot. Not intrusive, but still chatty. Just enough. Food? Man, whatever we ordered, it was just amazing. Everything came in right times. Even though we had all different dishes (snacks, strters, mains), they have managed somehow to put in the right order, which I really appreciated. I need to say, personally I had only snacks and starters, but left the table full. Good portions and fresh food. Just, if my younger one would be more in seafood, I would be dining in 3 Almas every day (they do have also meat dishesh/I had beef carpaccio and been satisfied. Ordered bottle of white wine which was of great quality. Best part, you did not need to spend more than €25 for a good bottle of wine. In overall, that was a nice treat. We found this restaurant shortly after it opened and visit it every time we come back to Almeria. I booked Sunday lunch by phone but was unsure if they had my name correct so confirmed via their website chat. On arrival we dropped my wife at the restaurant while we parked the car. She was completely ignored until I arrived and spoke to one of the staff who couldn’t confirm my booking but found us a table. Food as always was excellent but we all felt that the previously very friendly atmosphere had changed - maybe now they are busy they don’t have time to show they value the customer quite so much. 3 Alma’s was amazing. Fresh seafood and beautiful atmosphere however our night was truely made amazing by our waiter Ernesto. He absolutely is a credit to the restaurant, he was attentive and professional had us laughing the whole night. We only have a limited amount of time in aguadulce but he made our experience here so much more enjoyable. We will be returning and recommending the area and restaurant to everyone - because of Ernesto’s hospitality and beautiful food. Thank you...
