Mesón Restaurante Olmedo — Restaurant in Roquetas de Mar

We had a lovely meal here last night, four of us, they looked after us really well and were really helpful with my gluten free requirements. He knew his menu well and was able to tell me what I could and could not have very quickly which gives me confidence. I had the fried rabbit with garlic. One had the secreto and the other two shared a mixed grill, all the meat was perfect. They also serve gluten free beer. I had a tapa with mine which was ventresca (tuna belly) fresh and perfectly cooked on the grill. We sat on the new crystal terrace which was very nice but it’s a beautiful traditional Spanish restaurant inside too. They have a lot of choice on their menu and the service was very good, and you don’t mind waiting a little bit longer for food that is cooked so fresh. Can’t believe we’ve lived here 6 years and it’s only the first time we’ve eaten here (although have tried before and they’ve been full, although not surprised). Can’t wait to...

I enjoyed a simple tapas evening with friends. The waiter was on his toes and we got excellent service. The tapas were lovely and beers and wines memorable. Awful, the burger was undercooked and the meat really grey so even the dog wouldn't eat it. The service incredibly bad, we were going to have some normal dinner, but she kept forcing down tapas down our throat Fanta for kids 4.50 euros..just saying. The service so bad, she kept saying "it's not my problem"....
