Club De Golf Playa Serena — Attraction in Roquetas de Mar

I came to this golf club with my Mother one day due to the request of my Father at the time of his passing. My Mother and I went to the office and had a chat with the course Pro ( who knew my Father well from playing golf with him and also knew my Mother for similar reasons). After our chat, the Pro took us to the rear of the clubhouse where there were 2 buggies waiting for us. The Pro took us across the course to a really nice and quiet area that has bushes and flowering plants and shrubs that the Pro explained had been put there specifically for the spreading of ex-members ashes, so, I spread my Father's remains across the area and myself and my Mother said a little prayer for my Father. We then went back to the clubhouse and thanked the Pro then left. I can't say anything about this golf club that is negative.... Simply because I didn't see anything negative only positive. Very snooty do not cater for family's who want to try golf and have fun. Walked there to find they have would not allow shorts, shoes need full golf getup in 30 degree heat. You also need a handicap card to play. Did not feel Welcome at all. If you are a normal family on holiday and want to try golf for the first time do not go there as you are not the type of people they want there. Spent our money at the crazy golf at least we were made to feel welcome and...

Nice course my son and I played here. Club made a mistake and booked us on a comp day we played 9 then was asked to complete the back 9 later that day. We went back a couple of days later and was given 18 holes which was way of an apology. We hired clubs which were pings and not the normal rubbish you are palmed off with.
